1. Sponsor
This sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored and administered by Ammo.com ("we" or "Sponsor"). By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all respects.
2. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States, excluding Rhode Island and any other state where this Sweepstakes is prohibited or restricted, who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and agents of Sponsor and [LGHQ], their immediate family members, and members of their households are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
3. Promotion Period
This monthly Sweepstakes begins at [12:00 a.m.] [time zone] on [start date] and ends at [11:59 p.m.] [time zone] on [end date] (the "Promotion Period"). Each monthly Sweepstakes is a separate promotion governed by its own Official Rules.
4. How to Enter
This is an online-only Sweepstakes. To enter, complete the free entry form at ammo.com/2a-giveaway during the Promotion Period. No purchase is required, and a purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
Limit: one (1) entry per person per month. Entries that are incomplete or submitted outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, garbled, or misdirected entries; for any technical, hardware, software, or other communications malfunctions, errors, or failures of any kind; for lost or unavailable network connections; or for failed, incomplete, or delayed computer transmissions.
5. Winner Selection and Odds
Sponsor will select one (1) winner in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period, on or before [date/time] [time zone]. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
6. Prize
The prize for this monthly Sweepstakes is a check in the amount of $[X], representing the value of the advertised prize (a [gun safe / specific firearm], ARV $[X]). No physical merchandise, firearm, or ammunition is awarded, shipped, or transferred; the winner receives the cash value by check. Each monthly prize value is under $5,000. The prize is non-transferable. No substitution except at Sponsor's sole discretion.
7. Winner Notification and Conditions
The potential winner will be notified by email using the information provided at entry. To claim the prize, the potential winner must (a) confirm eligibility and (b) complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release and, where required, an IRS Form W-9, within twenty-one (21) days of the notification date. Sensitive tax information should be returned by encrypted email or by mail. If a potential winner cannot be reached, is ineligible, fails to return the required documents in time, or a prize notification is returned undeliverable, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
8. Taxes
All federal, state, and local taxes and any other costs associated with prize acceptance are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099 to winners as required by law. Sponsor does not provide tax advice; winners should consult their own tax advisors.
9. Marketing List
By entering, you may also elect to receive Ammo.com's email communications (the "Freedom Emails" newsletter), from which you may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. Joining the marketing list is not required to enter or win, and opting out will not affect your chances of winning. To enter without joining the marketing list, uncheck the newsletter box on the entry form. This Sweepstakes is email-only; we do not collect phone numbers for text marketing.
10. Publicity Release
Except where prohibited, by entering you authorize Sponsor to publish your first name, last initial, and state of residence to announce winners, and, if you win and sign the release, to use your name, likeness, and statements for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation, in any media now known or later developed.
11. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, amend, or terminate the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, without notice, for any reason, including if fraud, technical failure, tampering, or any other cause beyond Sponsor's control corrupts the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect or ineligible entries. Sponsor is not responsible for errors in the offer or administration of the Sweepstakes, including printing or posting errors, inaccurate entry information, technical malfunctions, or the inability to access any website.
12. Release and Limitation of Liability
By entering, you release and agree to hold harmless Sponsor, [LGHQ], and their owners, agents, officers, and employees from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.
13. Dispute Resolution; Governing Law
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes must be brought exclusively in a court located in El Paso County, Colorado. All disputes must be brought on an individual basis; you waive any right to bring or participate in a class or representative action, consistent with Ammo.com's Terms of Use.
14. No Affiliation with Social Platforms
This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta, or any other social media platform. You provide your information to Sponsor, not to any platform.
15. Winners List
For the name of the winner (first name, last initial, state), email [winners-list email] with "[Month Year] Giveaway - Winner" in the subject line by [date]. Sponsor may also post the winner on the giveaway page at ammo.com/2a-giveaway.
16. Privacy
Information collected is handled in accordance with Ammo.com's Privacy Policy.
