Your Consumer Rights

Several U.S. states provide rights to their residents regarding accessing and deleting their personal information. These rights are only available to consumers. They do not apply when people are acting in a commercial or employment capacity.

If you live in one of these states, you may have the following rights:

  • Right to know what personal information was processed and right to access that information, including retaining a copy of your personal information.
  • Right to delete any personal information in our possession.
  • Right to correct any inaccuracies in the personal information in our possession.
  • Right to appeal our denial of any consumer request you submit to us.

We do not conduct any selling or targeting advertising with your personal information or use your personal information for specific types of profiling. As a result, we do not offer any right to opt out of these activities.

You may exercise your rights described above by submitting a written request to us. We have established two methods for you to submit your request. The fastest and easiest option is to complete the form at https://ammo.com/consumer-data-request. You may also email us at privacy@ammo.com. If you email us your request, please include the same information requested on the webform so we may authenticate your request. We will verify your request using the information you provide, as allowed by law. We may deny any request if allowed by law.

You may use an agent to submit your request, if allowed by law. If you use an agent, we may require you to send us a power of attorney. If you do not send us a power of attorney, you may be required to provide commercially reasonable identification of your identity and evidence of the agent’s authority to act on your behalf. For example, you may need to provide the authorized agent signed permission to submit your request, verify your identity directly by submitting a verified consumer request according to the procedures in this section, and directly confirm with us that you provided the agent permission to submit the request, by contacting us at customercare@ammo.com.

You have the right to appeal our refusal to take action on, or respond to, your consumer request. You have 90 days after receipt to submit a request to appeal our decision by emailing privacy@ammo.com. We will inform you in writing of any action taken or not taken in response.
