How will your ammo be delivered?
Your bulk purchase will be shipped straight to your door in a discrete, unmarked package.
What’s the benefit to buying 12 gauge bulk ammo?
- You save more money: The biggest reason to buy bulk ammo is the cost savings it offers. We understand that you work hard for every dollar. By purchasing 12 gauge shells in bulk quantities of 250 or 500 rounds, you save money over buying one box at a time.
- You’re ready for the range: Ammo supply chains are fragile. If you wait to buy your shells at the range, not only will you pay more, but you don’t know if they will have your preferred 12 gauge ammo for target practice in stock. Buying in bulk means there's no need to worry about supply chain disruptions affecting your shooting plans.
- You reduce the hassle of reordering: With bulk purchases, you minimize the need for frequent reorders, ensuring you always have enough ammo on hand.
- You shoot more consistently: Buying in bulk provides a consistent supply of the same ammo, improving your accuracy and performance by eliminating batch variations.
- You support great organizations: With every purchase, Ammo.com makes a donation in your name to a freedom-loving charity at no cost to you. See who we support here!
How much do bulk 12 gauge shot shells cost?
Bulk 12 gauge shot shells can cost as low as 34¢ per round, offering significant savings over buying 5 or 20 round boxes each time you hit the range.

How does 12 gauge compare to other shells?
Caliber | Recoil | Pros | Cons |
---|---|---|---|
10 gauge | Similar | Slightly more stopping power at longer ranges, more pellets on target at 40 yards, traditional choice for goose hunting. | Heavy, limited ammo availability, more expensive. |
20 gauge | Much lower | Lower recoil, easier follow-up shots, better for new shooters and smaller game. | Less stopping power, shorter effective range. |
16 gauge | Slightly lower | Lighter weight, balanced performance for upland game hunting. | Limited ammo availability, less versatile than 12 gauge. |
.410 | Much lower | Lightweight, easy to handle, suitable for young or recoil-sensitive shooters, and ideal for small game hunting and pest control. | Less stopping power, limited range, fewer pellets in the shot pattern, and less effective for larger game or home defense. |

Great ammo . Does what it should do. I just wish AMMO.COM had better gear . A shirt with their logo on the front and back, would be a huge seller.

I wish the shooter performed as well as these rounds! I shoot 250 and one week I was red hot and the second round I was cold! So basically When it was warmer I thought the rounds shot hot....but in the cooler weather the gun performed better. These were an excellent target round for shooting skeet for the price!

Great shells with excellent quality however they do measure long. I have a Mosseberg 590 Tactical, normally holds 8 in the tube. These shells are longer than normal 2 3/4” and thus can only load 7. Need another 1/2” to get 8 in.

Shot this through a VR-80 and another auto-loader. Never cycled in the VR-80 and sometimes it did in the other one.

Took my new Benelli Nova Pump to the range and the first 4 shells in a row (from 2 separate boxes) fired fine, but jammed the fore-end so I couldn't eject the shell without very forcefully yanking back. I assume the brass casing expanded way more than it should have. I then tried 4 different brands and each worked flawlessly. Put the Rio back in and it jammed immediately. I ended up switching to an over-under gun and they performed fine in that. So, they may work fine for you in a different type of gun, but I wouldn't recommend them for a Benelli pump.
