This is CCI 22lr ammo so I would not expect the best and indeed CCI did not let me down. What did let me down was ammo.com's shipping department. Each of the 100 round was packed in standard CCI plastic slide top boxes and of the 5 boxes ALL 5 were cracked and or broken. The shipping box they came in looked okay shape, a couple of brused coners so the damage to the 22lr ammo had to have come from something internal, like the 3 boxes of Speer Lawman 38 Special Ammo - 50 Rounds of 125 Grain TMJ Ammunition and the 2 boxes of Hornady 357 Magnum Ammo - 25 Rounds of 135 Grain FTX Ammunition. I am pretty sure the 35 special and 357 magnum ammo was sloshing around inside the shipping container and hitting against each other as the 22lr ammo. The packing inside the shipping container was pretty minimal for that much weight and there should have been a lot more packing so nothing could move around. All the internal boxes need to be held ridgid. Don" feel bad, I have ordered ammo from other online companies with very simular results.

This seems to be the best functioning ,consistent ,and accurate I ‘ve used. Strongly recommend. I guess especially if you are on a small game.

  • PAUL said:

Very high quality consistent ammo. Never light strike, always reliable. Best on the market.

Love this ammunition! I fired over 1500 rounds through my S&W M&P AR 15-22 with only two rounds not ejecting completely. Your price is somewhat high as this ammo can be found elsewhere for around 50.00. It is your great service and timely shipping that keeps me coming back.

The ammo I purchase from you worked great. No jamming or misfires. I was completely satisfied. The value was ok, but considering the cost of shipping it wasn't that great. I don't do a lot of shooting so I would probably purchase again.

  • steve said:

CCI does me very well, hardly ever a problem cycling and much cleaner than lots of other brands. As long as its available will always use CCI and the service here also great.......I'll def be buying from here again.

Good ammo. Much cheaper than FN. Ran either or in a magazine and could not detect any differences. I encounter a lot of negative comments on this ammo. Mostly they looked to be repeats of the same comments. Some of the claims were downright preposterous, such as slugs falling out of casings. I don't believe any of those claims. I expect they are people trolling for FN, which is almost a buck a round.

Just purchased the FiveseveN and took it to the range with this ammo. Didn’t have any issues with the first (and only, unfortunately) 150 rounds I ran through it. The accuracy was nowhere near what I’ve heard reviewed...which was the reason I purchased the gun. However the gun isn’t broken in yet so this is a premature review on the ammo The American Eagle 5.7 is the cheapest ammo you can get for the gun so in comparison it’s pretty good. However if the accuracy doesn’t improve after 500 rounds I’m going to trade in the gun

ILL STAY WITH FEDERAL AMMO NO PROBLEM THANKS

CCI Standard Velocity: This ammunition handles it all. If your firearm experiences issues feeding or grouping with this load, the issue is almost certainly the gun itself, not the ammunition. It is highly recommended to buy it by the case. Ammo.com was fast and effiecient.

Stick with the brand FN or you’ll be sorry you bought the Federal 5.7. That’s coming from a guy who likes federal ammunition, but not their 5.7. Poor performance!

If you need some ammunition for an indoor range, these are the rounds for you.

Great value, performance and quality. Got these rounds to plink around with my son and I have to say I'm very impressed by the round.

Didn't have the first misfire or shell hangup in my Henry 22LR .Always on target with perfect velocity .Always on point.A+ Ammo.

  • Amber said:

Got this to shoot so shot about 50 rounds. 4 out of the 50 rounds went off in the chamber and got powder burns to the face. Never will I buy this again. I have 2 of the casings where it blew out the back. This is not safe to shoot.

  • Rutcutter said:

I haven't shot at 100 yards yet. 30 and 50 yards i can keep a quarter size to a 1 1/2 hole in my target. Shooting out of a ruger 10/22 precision.

The Anguilla 22LR cycled smoothly and was very accurate.

  • Frank said:

Inconsistent. Some rounds hotter than others while others didn't cycle the pistol (S&W Model 41). Accuracy was fine.

Best bang for the buck and performs just as their brands do - I promise

I have shot between 100 and 150 rounds of this ammo so far. Primarily shooting a Taurus TX22. I have had 3 failures thus far. 1 casing stuck in my barrel. Otherwise having a lot of fun and extending my range time.

Cost twice as much as other brands. No difference in accuracy at 25 yards from a benchrest than the cheap stuff thru my new Mossberg 702 Plinkster . This did not jam, but neither did 8 other brands/models. all much cheaper.

I've run this through a couple different .22 rifles and it's always cycled. Great for plinking.

  • thederdog said:

Bought 400 rounds not one missfire or jam. Fired true at 100 yards . Expensive for 22LR but does fires true and clean

  • jeager said:

I do a LOT of shooting with rim fire .22 ammo and hunt small game for the pot. This ammo is accurate, and shot to shot quality is stellar. Best I've ever used and ordering more. A bit pricey but you pay for quality.

  • fyrfox said:

Feeds great, no issues, buying by bulk is a great savings with above average performance.

  • Keith said:

I have about 400 rounds through my Browning SA 22 and Hight Standard outlet Nine. The are accurate and run well through the Browning but are difficult to load and extract from my revolver. The cases are very tight in the cylinder. I thought the cylinder might be dirty at first but after cleaning there was no improvement. Remington and Federal loaded and extracted with no problem

  • Luke said:

Product info says 990 fps, manufacturer says 1083. That's the difference between subsonic and supersonic depending on elevation and temperature... I was hoping for subsonic performance for quieter plinking.

  • Nick D. said:

Ammo fed reliably with the exception of 2 misfeeds out of 220rds and was pretty accurate; however, it has got to be some of the dirtiest ammo I've ever used.

  • Skipper said:

The ammo is very good; the faster velocity makes the 40 gr. bullet a more accurate round over the 1235 fps. ammo. It is also a lot louder than your average round fired. All and all, this ammo works very well in my Browning Buck Mark Carbine.

  • Mario said:

I was excited to try this ammo. I have been shooting primarily 22lr lately. I was very surprised and disappointed with this ammo. Every magazine (10 shots) produced miss-fires, eject failures, I would says for every 10 shots I had an average of 2-4 problems. I would expect this from a budget round but not from a CCI product. I struggled to get through my first of 3 containers. I have 2 left and I won’t be using them again in my pistols, I’ll try them in a rifle but I’m done trying the ammo in a pistol. I will not purchase again, definitely not. Every other CCI product I’ve shot has been great. Mario Furst Ruger MK 4 Hunter Browning Buckmark Camper UFX Indoor Range, controlled conditions

Bought a brick of this ammo when I purchased a 22 long rifle conversion for my AR. It would not cycle! Also tried it in a AR style 22 rifle. Would not cycle!

  • Rich said:

Bought this ammo based off of CCI name and brand. Do not buy. It wouldn't cycle in the Ruger 22. Constant problems and a long day at the range....
