Justin is a lifelong hunter, shooter, and firearms industry professional who brings real-world experience to every article he writes.

Hunting is Justin's passion. He pursues big game and small game from coast to coast and everywhere in between, with a rifle, a shotgun, or a bow in hand. He's just as likely to be writing from a tree stand, a glassing knob, or a duck blind as he is from behind a desk.

Justin holds a degree in Political Science from UNC Charlotte, with a focus on constitutional law and the Second Amendment. He spent close to a decade in sporting goods retail at Dick's Sporting Goods and Bass Pro Shops, including years running the gun counter, where he helped countless customers find the right firearm and ammunition for their needs.

Today, Justin works alongside brands across the hunting, firearms, archery, optics, and outdoor gear industries. He has written for companies including Retay USA, CYA Supply Co., Infinite Outdoors, and XOP Outdoors, and he regularly attends SHOT Show and the NRA Great American Outdoor Show with his industry partners to stay on top of the latest firearms, ammunition, and gear.
