I don't have high standards for steel case 7.62x39, all I ask is that it goes bang. This stuff does not. I purchased 2000 rounds of which I have so far fired about 200. Roughly 10% of them were duds. This is not an exaggeration, I had on average 3 duds in every 30 round magazine. It isn't my weapon's fault (CMMG MK47 Mutant), every round had a solid primer strike. I have previously run thousands of rounds of everything from Tula to subsonic Brown Bear to Romanian surplus without a single mishap. One more thing to note is that the cases are marked as "Tulammo." You can even see it in the photograph on the site here. This makes me suspect it of being reloaded steel case, though I could be mistaken. Regardless, this is unreliable and you shouldn't waste your money.

This ammunition is well worth the price and would recommend it to anyone that likes this caliber. Only wish I had purchased more. I will need to reorder since what I bought only lasted one time at the range. Had to keep shooting for the accuracy was great. Clean up was fast as that this is definitely not corrosive.

Flawless with my two boxes. I got a very tight shot group and performed very well (AR-15 PSA 300BLK Pistol 8.5 inch / 1:8) Box says match grade but due to the shortage of ammo just about everywhere, I had nothing to compare it to. Box says "veteran owned" and that makes me happy - 100% in on that that you're one of us. Price might be a tad high but just not that significant - more important to have it. Nice ammo and would buy again.

This is the finest production ammunition I have ever ran through my .30-30 lever gun. There is no other hard hitting, deer killing, precision driven, one shot one kill round out there that can outperform this production line ammunition, even the very precise match grade ammunition I have used just to see the difference in accuracy and precision was extraordinary. In other words, this Remington ammunition left all the other loads, including hand loads, back at the factory. Other companies need to take note and reinvent their selves, because this manufacturer knows their cartridges more than the competition. BUY THIS AMMUNITION, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!! By the way, if you do regret it, it just means you are a terrible shot, believe me, these rounds hit where the barrel is aiming. PRECISION CARTRIDGES

As usual very prompt customer service and worry free shipping, love these guys & gals @ ammo.com. Well I am no expert about ammo, but I will say that this ammo was performing better than some more expensive products. fresh and snappy, good penetration and groupings 2"-3" @ 200-300 yds, mini-14 1-9 twist , similar to SS109 m855 but heavier Gr.

Five deer taken on my ranch with this ammo: two neck shots, two head shots, and one shoulder shot ( 106 yds) . All dropped in their tracks! The shoulder shot hit a rib but still exited the body with a one inch exit wound that would have facilitated tracking, had it been necessary.
-
Jimmy said:
My friends and family have taken five deer from my ranch this season, all taken with this ammo. All dropped in their tracks! Two were heart/lung shots, two were neck shots, and one head shot. Both chest area shots penetrated completely with minimal meat damage and left a quarter size exit which would have left a good blood trail if tracking had been necessary. Tremendous performance!

For a lighter cheaper round, this is a great bullet. Penetrated just behind the shoulder and severed the heart in half. The bullet did is job! Have shot all sorts of .308 and found this to be most effective.

Purchased 500 rounds of this ammo. Have fired 30 rounds so far with a total of 4 DUDS. Not a good ratio. Ammo is ok for just messing around and is pretty acurate given what I paid for it. DO NOT use this ammo for self defense or hunting, or any other time when you NEED the round to fire.

I shot a box of Wolf 145 grain FMJ 308's in my new Springfield M1A SOCIM-16 and they helped me break in the new rifle just fine. All rounds fired clean, no misfires, no jams. All rounds landed on my down-range target as expected. Will continue to use this ammo. All good. Happy shooter. Peter M.

DE said:
This ammo is garbage. Steel casing has hard time ejecting and ammo is flipping end-over-end until the target. Literally have lengthwise silhouette holes in the target with about an 18” spread at 100 yards. It’s like firing a curveball, you don’t know where it will hit unless you can predict the flipping rotation. Absolute garbage!

Easier to shoot than my .45 colt. More precise SW 500 ammo. I can't tell the difference between 300 grain and 500 grain. Both accurate and not much change in recoil. Want recoil?!! Don't shoot a bear load unless your wrists are tough.

I've never been satisfied with the accuracy of my SKS. I know it's limitations, yet I thought we could do better. We just did. The Silver Bear ammo consistently grouped tighter and closer to my point of aim than the Tula or Wolf ammo. It's not as easy to find as the other Russian ammo, and usually costs a buck or two more per box. Take the time and spend the extra money. IMHO, the only step up is the expensive "match rounds" (i.e. Winchester). That'll get you a marginal increase in accuracy for double the cost. The Bear line, made in the Barnaul plant, is simply the best choice.

I hand load 55g blitzing for my AR and these performed exactly like my hand loads no adjustment in windage or elevation was needed. Although I didn't have time to run them through the chronograph with the performance at 100 yards I'd say the advertised velocity is spot on with a 24 inch barrel.

Very accurate round and grain of bullet. 225 yard shot on huge doe (almost 200 pound hoof weight) and one shot deer ran almost 25 yards and we were field dressing the deer. Only regret was that no bucks were seen and end of day and season.

The Wolf 125 gr SP is very effective on deer and hogs. Accurate and performs well in harvests within 100 yards, according to my experience. No feeding or failure to fire issues encountered when used in BCA 7.62x39 AR platforms. Same trouble free operation and effectiveness in PSA, VSKA types as well. Great choice for hunting.

Don't get for AR in 7.62 HP`s do not cycle unless you give the feed channel where the lower meets the barrels chamber a little attention a file and sand paper did the trick after about 10 freaking hrs =( I gave 4 stars on quality cause I hate steel but oh well just shtf backup ammo I planned on storing Ty Ammo Dot net for speedy service o7

I bought this ammo for my Marlin 1895 after purchasing a different brand of ammo initially for my first range session that I was happy with Accuracy wise for the most part but not so much with the power of the rounds. Well i can tell you that these Prvi rounds performed well across the board, accuracy, quality and big power, which is what I wanted in the rounds I'd be using for this rifle both at the range and in the woods. I try to practice with the same or similar rounds I'd be using when hunting or for self defense. train how you fight is what I was taught. buy these rounds and you wont be disappointed.

I shot a bunch of Federal, Sig Sauer, but my AR really liked this stuff out at 100 yards. The Sig performed well too. The Federal was all over the place. I was shooting light grains. Good clean quality accurate ammo. The price is great too.

John said:
This is likely the storage of the ammo, not the ammo itself. The brass showed corrosion/scuffs/blemishes. The cartridge was not damaged and, I've already taken a deer with it, but was surprised it did not look 'new' I was also hoping for not having to trail much, and I didn't get the effect I wanted in that department.

Shot these at 100 yards and was impressed by the roughly 1 moa group i got from my grendel AR. not bad for cheap steel "plinking" ammo.
-
Chris said:
I know most people would say the 123 gr is the optimized bullet weight for the Grendel but I have found the 115 gr PPU to be the most accurate and long shooting of the rounds I have tried so far.

Used .308 Win in 180gr. Everything was cool, until I chronographed some. Came in at 2650fps, which to me is firstly too fast on African game, and closer to max pressure than I am comfortable with. Other than that, good ammo and cases (been reloading my used factory ammo cases, no issues).
-
Shawn said:
Use it to get familiar with the operation of the new rifle. First round split the back 1/4" off the casing and I had to fish the rest out of the chamber. No issues with remaining 39 rounds. 1.5" group at 100 yards.
