Some time ago I picked up 1000 rounds of MBI ammo, probably through Lucky Gunner. I finally got around to using it, and my M9A3 had a ton of failure to feed issues. I picked up a 9mm Sherridan case guage, and out of the 1000 rnds, about 100 of them are bad. They literally get stuck in the gauge to the point you can't easily get them out... which is why the don't work. Pretty horrible QC and very unimpressive.

  • Whiskey Bravo said:

Great ammo for the price had ZERO issues. Delivery was very quick and efficient

  • Steve said:

Have put it through a couple different guns and had zero problems so far.

  • Gerald said:

I have been thru 100 rounds of this MBI ammunition in my H&K P30 with no jams or misfires. Excellent value!

  • JoeyK said:

Fired about 150 rounds each through Walter PPS and S&W Shield. No FTFs and both guns showed very little residue.

  • Wildman said:

I've fired about 200 rounds using my Glock 17 thus far and had no problems whatsoever. For the price, I have recommended your product to others. Thanks.

  • Tomaz said:

The only reason I don't give a 5 stars on quality is because it leaves a LOT of powder behind to clean up after shooting. Other than that, I enjoyed your products.

  • Bramson Muges said:

Fired about fifty rounds through my XDs. Had two failures to extract with the spent casing stuck halfway in the chamber. Both times same exact stoppage. I think the shell may have been weak and expanded to much. I think they need to find better brass. Although it functioned in my Glock just fine. So it can't be too bad.

  • Charles said:

I went through about 500 today. In the first 100 I had a fired shell jam so the action couldn't even open. This was my S&W M&P 9 which cycles ANYTHING. Had to hammer a screwdriver down the barrel. Everything fired fine again until a little over 300 rounds and had the same type of jam, except it was live! I whacked the gun against a table about 10 times facing down range until it finally fired off, still couldn't open the action, so applied the hammer/screwdriver technique. Pretty great ammo, but I'm assuming a few were loaded a bit too hot and the brass expanded to the point of jamming up in the barrel.

  • Big Jim said:

Purchased this MBI ammo last year and did bot get to shoot it until recently and was quite surprised at the accuracy I was able to achieve with this ammo. Mine came in two small boxes and they fit right in a 50cal ammo can. Great ammo for the money and will purchase again from these fine sellers.

  • Ray said:

Price was great, but I do not like the bags, when you open all the ammo goes all over. I prefer boxes. I shot over 250 rounds no misfires.

  • Zaza said:

We have had no problems with the ammo and will buy again.

  • watermn said:

bought this ammo to run during a 2 day Uzi course. shot as well if not better than some of the factory orginal stuff. 25 rounds in 2 1/2 seconds in a 4 inch group.

  • PistolPete said:

Fine product I will order again. A win-win. Good range time & support NRA. What's not to like?

  • bigbukt said:

haven't had time to shoot yet but with today's prices this was a great deal definitely will shop here again

  • Little D said:

Feeds Great The Only problem is the small plastic bags that they place 100 rounds per bag alot of them had busted open so they might as well just sell

  • Ryanxd9 said:

Great ammo. Best service and turn around. Thank you keep up the best service.

No jams, fail to fires and great fun

  • Chibob said:

I purchased a Sig 2022 and called Sig for break-in information. They said they liked people to shoot 124 gr. rounds for the first 100 rounds to properly break-in the weapon. I purchased the MBI ammo for that purpose. I"ve since ordered 500 more rounds of 9 mm and 200 res of .40 cal . No FTE's, No FTF's with a new gun. Think that says it all

  • Flametamer said:

Bought 400 rounds, shot 230 so far. No problems. Every round fed and shot just like it should. Going to buy more of this.

  • Matt said:

Ordered 1,000 when supplies were tighter a few months back. First few hundred worked fine (not one problem), but then in the last 100-bag alone, I had 2 FTEs and one misfire that was so bad, I had to drill the bullet out of the bore. Hope it's just a coincidence they all came at the same time. Will fire the last 400 rounds with curiosity before ordering more.

  • freddy said:

I used one gen2 glock 19 one gen4 19 one gen 3glock 17 the only problem was the new only 20 rounds through it will fix it self after a couple hundred rounds.nice for the price when you cant find the time to load your own.

  • KD said:

Received my order quickly. No problems in my P-95, 92FS, CW9. Packaged well for shipping. I'll be back!

  • rip01 said:

Works great, will buy again, target practice load, my 92F

  • Mustangrob said:

Value was great, quality was ok, a lot of rounds seemed to have small dings/dents in the casings as well as the bullet itself. Performance is still a little in doubt, shot numerous rounds thru my Beretta 92FS and did well, thru my new Nano didnt perform as good and had one FTE, maybe because the gun is new, I dont know.

  • dennis said:

Shot about 300the rds thru a new ruger sr9. Had a couple of failed ejections,it maybe because of the new gun.im sure this will correct as the gun gets broken in.satisfied with everything else.just a little distressed that the ammo here has doubled in price.if it corrects I will be buying more.

  • maur800 said:

ordered 2 9's and 2 40's had no problems with either of them, quick service and curtious, will definitly order again. thank you

Federal manufactured XM193BL is pretty much a GOLD STANDARD round and it’s quality is well known. But my review is related to AMMO.COM and I just cannot say thank you enough! Virtually unbeatable price coupled with a commitment to helping veterans and gun advocates... and I got my order in less than 72 hours. Great Job! AMMO.COM is. Ow my first stop for all Caliber needs.

The ammo arrived on my birthday and it was the highlight of my day. My order was filled and sent to me so fast I was pleasantly surprised. The cartridges are of the highest quality, not musty surplus like some folks are selling. Very happy, thank you.

  • Retired Sarge said:

My first time using the rifle I used this ammo. On a 10 inch dirty bird target I was able to land consistent groupings .I was able to land 59 out of 60 rounds in the 9 ring or better. The order was shipped and I received it on the third day. Service is excellent.

  • stan said:

  • Vlad said:

I tried different ammo brands (CCI / Blazer, Magtech, Winchester, Federal, etc.) and I always come back to S&B when I have a chance. Prices may vary but it’s reliable, offers consistent quality and performance, and, in my experience, one of the cleanest burning 9mm rounds - highly recommend!

  • T said:

The ammo came fast and I liked how small the boxes are, the only problem I have is my Rost Martin RM1C jams every shot or 2 on these. I tested a box of blazer and had no issues, shot 3 boxes of sellier and was jamming far too often. If you have an RM1C, steer clear.

  • CLL said:

I have a Chinese type 56 (SKS copy). TulAmmo is about all I fire out of it. It's inexpensive, powerful, and all around a good buy. The one drawback to it is the fact that steel cased Russian ammo is dirty after the shots go off. I had to spend about an hour cleaning the powder residue and metal fouling from my rifle. But I wouldn't trade that for nothing. Thanks Russia!! You make such great things.

Good, cheap plinking ammo for your AR15 range toy… you will feel very dirty after burning thru this big ol box, almost as dirty as it will make your weapon so be prepared to clean and lube your pew pew afterwards! Practice safe shooting while at the range: no pulling out of your lane, try your best to keep your rounds center mass and fight the temptation to try head shots or facials on those silhouette targets!

  • Al said:

Very nice ammo to target practice and cheap to shoot a lot of.

  • J. T. said:

This is steel cartridge cases, steel core bullets and they have been banned from all indoor ranges I have been to as the round fouls up the range backstop. The cases are also Berdan primed and cannot be used for reloading, same garbage as TulAmmo. If you want to recycle you'll have to shoot several tons to recycle the steel. NOT RE-LOADABLE. They shoot, had some failure to feeds, I will never buy Russian made garbage again.

I was having trouble with other brands of 9MMs. The extractor was unable to remove spent cases so the gun would jam. It would jam every 4th or 5th round. I would have to remove the mag, use a small flathead screw driver to pull back the next live round and shake the gun so the spend case would fall out. I tried three different brands before I bought the Fiocchi rounds. I cycled 150 rounds of Fiocchi 9MMs through my gun yesterday WITHOUT a single jam! Could not be more satisfied with the ammo's performance. Thanks.

I have bought lots of 1,000 of this ammo 2-3 times. The first lot(s) were good. However, I started getting tons of split case necks about every 10th round with my most recent lot. This was with a 10.5" AR pistol and good quality P-mags. I had my local gunsmith look at the gun, and he couldn't find any issues, so presumably the culprit was the ammo. Not sure if they had some QC issues this year? I haven't written off Fiocci, but I'll probably wait a while until any bad ammo cycles through the market.

  • Ezekiel said:

I bought 2 of these boxes and haven’t had any problems. Goes bang every time. No misfires, no jams. I will continue using 55 grain for shooting ranges, as well as home defense situations.

  • Sam said:

This ammo is low cost, performs okay, but will dirty up your bore real quick. Advise cleaning more frequently with this ammo.

  • Chris said:

No jams or any major malfunctions

  • Jiaxi said:

Very disappointing performance. In my AR-15, this ammo caused constant malfunctions — almost one failure per magazine. Frequent failure to eject and failure to feed made it extremely frustrating to shoot. The rifle runs flawlessly with other 5.56 ammunition, so the issue appears to be weak or inconsistent loading. This ammo may work in some platforms, but it was completely unreliable in mine. I would not recommend it for semi-auto AR use.

  • Mason said:

Dumped a couple 40rd mags in a brand new ar. No stoppages or failures. Worked perfect.

  • Kenneth said:

Super dirty and so many no fires and duds. Will never buy Anguila again as it is pure garbage.

  • Kenneth said:

Worst ammo I have ever shot. 8 duds out of a 100 wouldn’t fire. Also very dirty. Gave away my remaining rounds to a friend. Will never buy again.

  • B said:

Very fast delivery. Great quality. Thank you!

  • CDH said:

Shipped quickly Haven't had a chance to send some down range. But sure they'll be fine

  • Dave said:

Compared to brass prices you cant beat it! Shot about 500 rounds between two weekends had no issues every round shot flawlessly I will be returning for more

  • Spencer said:

Ran 600 so far with no issues.

  • Kenneth said:

    Works great in my Taurus.

  • Miro said:

I am familiar with the company which is almost 100 years old. Great quality ammo with signature red line around the primer which seal and look good. This is how I recognized it one time in a indoor range and found out that PPU ammunition is available here in the U.S.A.

  • Jetson said:

Goes bang, burns clean, shoots straight no ftf’s or any other issues. I’d trust my life to it. Gonna get more.

  • Christian said:

Shot 100 rounds through my new AR-15 and everything was flawless. Very happy with the service, delivery time and quality of the Ammo.

  • Will said:

I've been using Igman 124gr FMJ 9m for some time now, I estimate I've shot over 5000 rounds of Igman 9m at an indoor range and have never had a single problem with the ammo. Additionally, it's relatively clean burning with less carbon deposits compared to other brands I've used. Recommended without hesitation.

  • Steve K said:

I needed something for the range, so the cheaper the better. However, I have had some issues with cheaper ammo not feeding properly or primer issues. I was glad to find this ammo for a very similar price. I've shot about 2K rounds of this with no issues.

  • Lark said:

I have went thru about 200 rounds so far. Tight groups and no problems whatsoever. I have been trying out different ammo for different AR's. I typically buy 1,000--2,000 rounds at a time. I try to keep the cost as close to 40 cents per round as I can get. This was 57.5 cents per round (but I wanted to give it a try). Again, nothing bad to say about this ammo--but the price will probably keep me from ordering more. Also--I prefer 62 grain (75 and 77 grain would be my top choices, but (usually) the cost is prohibitive). Very good ammo.

  • Timbo said:

I found the ammo to be reliable, and shoot good groups.

  • Mark said:

Recently shot 300 rounds in Walther ppq q5 SF, Canik Tp9SF, Sar9 USA and Ruger PC9 carbine. I had no misfires or FTE problems and the ammo was very accurate. When cleaning guns found little to no residue. I was very impressed and would buy again

  • aeroflame said:

I shot a bunch of Federal, Sig Sauer, but my AR really liked this stuff out at 100 yards. The Sig performed well too. The Federal was all over the place. I was shooting light grains. Good clean quality accurate ammo. The price is great too.

  • Gunlaw said:

We shot a few hundred rounds through several handguns. The only one that had any trouble was my wife's Si P938 (9mm). A few FTF even though the primer cap was dented it wasn't hard enough to set off the primer.

  • John said:

Cost of steel cased ammo - cons of steel cased ammo - but well made AFAICT

  • Chris said:

I bought 500 rounds of the 556 FMJ out of the first few boxes (60 rounds) 11 have failed to fire. Firing pin struck the bullet but no boom. Will not be purchasing again.

  • Jamms said:

Price was pretty good. But constant jamming and feeding issues in all 3 of our weapons. Casings seem soft. Not sure about that though. They did stay in decent groupings on the target at 50 yards. Oh and the damn boxes all came apart, had to just dump em all into a bucket. Frustrating because I like to just take one or two boxes to the range. But anyway.

  • Signman said:

Jammed every other round. Very disappointed.

  • JayG said:

I've been using Tula in my XDM .45 for plinking and have had no issues so I thought I'd give these a try, but the Tula .223 Rem 55gr malfunctions VERY often in my modern sporting rifle. Every 2-4 rounds caused a failure to eject/cycle, or double feed. I've had NO issues with brass in the same rifle. Not worth the pennies saved, I won't be buying Tula .223 again or even finishing the rounds I bought.

The MAXX Tech 124gr FMJ ammo I use primarily to break in new firearms (Glock, Springfield, S&W, and CANIK. However due to their reliability I have also incorporated into home defense. At this point I have shot over 700 rounds without issues. Would recommend and continue using.

Fast delivery, ammo is nicely packed into small boxes. Definitely will order again!

  • JV said:

As the title states it fired every time I pulled the trigger and I was satisfied with the grouping at 50 yards with just a Trijicon MRO. For range training ammo I wouldn't hesitate to order it again. Plus the shipping and order processing was very fast! All good.

  • David said:

    Performs well

  • Joe said:

As far as the look and the function of the ammo I’m really pleased with it. The price met or was cheaper than competitors. They were packaged well and clean. They also fired great out of my AR. The thing that stood out the most was the fact that I made my purchase on July 3rd around noon and I received the ammo on July 4th before noon. I was so surprised! I will definitely be ordering here in the future.

I was very impressed with this ammo. I ran it through an HK VP9 A1 F, a custom canik sketch, the Canik TTI Combat. Had two failures with the HK, but it was my fault. I limp wristed my first two shots, I had just bought the gun that day. After about 30 mins I had a feel for the gun. So I toss up a new target. I keyholed 3 shots. Not rapid, but not slow. It wasn’t just the gun. It was the ammo. Had the same results with the caniks. No failures on those. And it’s nice knowing the entire projectile is jacketed. Which essentially eliminated exposure to lead. Love this stuff! Bought the G2 gold dot as my defensive ammo as well. 147 grain. Cheers!

Hopefully it is my pistol and not the overall perforance of the ammo I have a Sig 365 that is normally Highlt accurate It shoots everything very well WElLL not everything It does not like Speer Lawman at all Had not MFs of FTEs but have experienced MANY (1 out 5) flyers and not just a little a little 6-8 inches off group at 15yrds

I've shot PMC ammo for years on the range, for .223, .45acp & 9mm, never had a misfire or failure to feed on any of my guns. Korean ammo is the only foreign ammo I'll buy!

Every 3rd to 5th round had a deep seated primer. For the value it was a good deal but nothing is worse on range day than pulling the trigger and no bang.

  • John said:

I think these guys might be the best kept secret in the industry. They’re a legitimate military supplier for multiple EU countries, so the M193 designation on the box is MIL SPEC not just a marketting buzzword. I’ve probably bought and fired more than 5,000 rounds of Igman, and I’ve never had a single failure. It’s accurate, runs clean, and always works. There isn’t much more you can ask for from an ammo manufacturer.

  • William said:

Had the shipment in a few days, two days after they actually shipped it. Ammo was well packed and did not suffer in shipping. Ammo itself looks good, steel case, lacquered. Functioned well and had reasonable groups, 3.5 in compared to 1 in for handloads. Rifle was very dirty after firing , dirtier than with handloads by a large margin. Rifle cleaned up well though I wouldn't let it sit before cleaning after using this ammo.

  • Jon said:

Great ammo for a great price, about 100 rounds in and no issues whatsoever.

  • Bcino said:

Fire’s every round , no mis, jams will be ordering more

  • Ian said:

I put 400 rounds through my ak-103 works flawlessly its good shooting ammo. I like that the cases are lacquer sealed. Probably won't be able to take it to an indoor range I did the magnet test with the bullet and it sticks so it's definitely a copper wash steel bullet but it goes through half inch mild steel. Definitely the cheapest ammo that I could find and there's no complaints on my behalf it's not corrosive at all.

  • Mabunsreng Ra said:

    Amazing production

  • Zack said:

This stuff shoots straight, fires every single time, and makes tight groups! Some say it's corrosive but I'm telling you I've never seen one speck of rust or anything that would lead me to believe this. A true must try!
