This is the finest production ammunition I have ever ran through my .30-30 lever gun. There is no other hard hitting, deer killing, precision driven, one shot one kill round out there that can outperform this production line ammunition, even the very precise match grade ammunition I have used just to see the difference in accuracy and precision was extraordinary. In other words, this Remington ammunition left all the other loads, including hand loads, back at the factory. Bought 500 rounds, been through 160 so far. No misfires, no bad brass, no deformation. Shot them out of an M1A socom and they run great. Only time I've found ammo cheaper is in limited quantity clearance sales. These are factory new, despite some mixed reviews i've found elsewhere indicating otherwise. All brass is marked AI USA 308 Win. I'm sure there is better quality ammo, but truthfully in times like this (10/22) with 308 averaging $1/rd everywhere for cheap crap this is a great bargain.

The .270 is a flat shooting Caliber, and big enough to take down many species. I prefer to use 150 grain, and sight in my rifle to 300 yards

These Speer Gold Dot 308, 150 grain shells are great in my Ruger SFAR. The rifle is picky about ammo and worked best with polymer tip ammo. I tried these Gold Dots in 150 grain from 100 to 200 yards. Minimal exposed lead tip and chrome plated cases were accurate and reliable. Ruger SFAR prefers 150 grain for accuracy and these hovered around 1 3/8-1 1/2" at 100 yards. Sig 1x6 Tango, 2nd focal plane. Great ammo in light weight package.

This is likely the storage of the ammo, not the ammo itself. The brass showed corrosion/scuffs/blemishes. The cartridge was not damaged and, I've already taken a deer with it, but was surprised it did not look 'new' I was also hoping for not having to trail much, and I didn't get the effect I wanted in that department.

I ran these through my brand new rifle. And it did not cycle. I thought maybe it just needed a break in period but I ran a different ammo and it cycled. Just fine, my buddy put this ammo. Through his rifle and same thing, it would not cycle consistently. Not accurate at all. Just to all around garbage
