Some time ago I picked up 1000 rounds of MBI ammo, probably through Lucky Gunner. I finally got around to using it, and my M9A3 had a ton of failure to feed issues. I picked up a 9mm Sherridan case guage, and out of the 1000 rnds, about 100 of them are bad. They literally get stuck in the gauge to the point you can't easily get them out... which is why the don't work. Pretty horrible QC and very unimpressive.

Purchased 50 rounds, but have only shot 18 so far. I've had no problems at all. Shoots nice and clean, and no duds. I love the federal ammo so far. My only knock was on the value....which I dropped down 1 notch. The price for the 50 round box is awesome, but the shipping and handling hurt the value...still when you can't find the ammo you are looking for locally, the shipping and handling isn't much of an issue. Works perfectly for older revolvers. These didn't blow up 1900s 4th model top break. A little bit dirty but thats to be expected from a LRN

I plink'd about 100 rds so far and I am very pleased. This stuff shoots great.

Have run over 14,000 rounds(yes...that's fourteen-thousand- plus) through my Sig P229 and I believe maybe two or three were misfires. I am very satisfied with the product.

I put 40 rounds through my 1872 Uberti open top and every round went boom but not all hit the hanging metal plate I was shooting at. Must be something wrong with the ammo…. It couldn’t have been me! Bottom line is that it performed great and I’ll be purchasing more just as soon as I pay off my new glasses.

Speaking specifically of 45 ball ammo. Years ago I once had a AD inside my house. I was amazed at the performance. It went thru 3 walls, changed direction 3x due to hitting wall studs before finally stopping against the inside brick cavity at the exterior of the house. I recovered the bullet and it had only minor deformation. Since then I keep and extra mag of Ball just in case.

I spoke with Chris yesterday (28-November) I needed clarification on the rebate process from Winchester. He walked me through the process step by step, shared his own experience relating to the process. It's always reassuring when someone shares from a personal point of view, not just what's written, gave me some insight on timeframes, also advice, go to tje site first so i would know what was needed, a great help to because I'm buying from Ammo.com of course and there are time frames, so that was very helpful as well.. Chirs was patient, knowledge and insightful about all aspects of his product. Normally (as with most) I feel if I dont ask i wont get the full story, Chris always deep dives and goes further giving all needed for me to feel comfortable in my decision. Ran good. Value was pretty good.

I shot 60 rounds of this flat nose stuff along with a fair amount of PMC, Magtech, and Hornady to break in my new 2.0. Every one of these bullets fed, shot, and extracted smoothly. A flat nose 380 gives a smash cavity in your target instead of a round nose just slipping past tissue and deflecting off bone. Best choice for self d.

I was a little hesitant at first, but Ammo.com delivered as advertised. I expected a little higher price due to the ammunition shortage and found that other dealers are pricier. I will be a future customer.

Barely had to clean my rifle after shooting an entire box and had my rifle dialed in very quickly as a result of very little shot variation using this ammo.

Speer makes great ammo. Unfortunately, with supply so low, prices are high. But, you better have good ammo on hand. This is good!!!!

Modern Super-X 44-40 hunting loads only get 1,190fps advertised, limiting this cartridge to only 100 yards. Mine chronographed 1,025fps. Original black powder factory loads achieved 1,325fps and were killers out to 300 yards, later reduced to 1,245, then back up to 1,325fps with smokeless loads. By the1960's they were reduced to 1,310fps when rifle powder was replaced by ball powders. By 1978 Winchester started using flake pistol powders, further reducing performance down to the now 1,190fps advertised velocity. Not to mention from 1903 to 1941, Winchester manufactured 1,565fps High Velocity loads used for the Model 92' Winchesters and other like rifles like the Marlin 1894. Winchester further nurtured the 44-40 with the mouse fart "Cowboy" reduced loads of only 900fps from a rifle. Thus I give the modern factory loads a 2 for performance, a 2 for value since folks are paying an arm and a leg for neutered ammunition. The 185 grain cycled thru both my Glocks and Para-Ordnance 1911 LDA without any problems. The .40SW feed thru my Beretta Strorm Carbines and both were very accuate and fairly clean burining.

We have shot 300+ rounds with no problems. I am purchasing (2) 9mm handguns and possibly a .40 or .44 mag. so i will be looking at your site for competitive pricing. Thanks for the opportunity to voice my opinion. Respectfully, Al Young

Smooth transaction fast ship

Shot ammo in a Glock 27 Gen 4 with very little problem. Ammo jammed a couple of times, but I don't think the ammo was the problem. I will buy more Prvi Partizan ( PPU) ammo when possible in .40 cal, 9mm, and 357 sig. Great stuff. Shoots cleaner than most other I have found.

Bought 1000 of these to teach myself how to shoot a snub nose Smith & Wesson. Gone through more than half. Each kicks the same. No miss fires. Come out of the cylinder easily. Will buy them again to keep in practice.

My 270 loves this ammo, Elk, Blacktail Deer, Whitetail Deer and Antelope are no match for this solid round. Drops it where it stands. I will not shoot anything else but this bullet, 130 gr.

I bought 500 rounds a year or so ago and have really enjoyed it. I use it in my Ruger LCP and have had no problems at all. It's smooth shooting. easy to load and what more can I say, some of the best ammo I've used. The price was excellent. I always check the site for great deals and have found them.

I have had a chance to use a few of the rounds, and am happy with the performance. No jams, and true flight.

Very reliable ammo and consistent. A little on the pricey side but you get Hornady quality.

No misfires, reduction of recoil, just as accurate if not better than FMJ rounds.

Worked like it should it went in the gun. it came out of the gun . so it worked just fine.

I gave it 3 stars for value because ammo is way too expensive at this time. It's especially true for any Suppressor Ammo (Sub Sonic). The ammo shoots fine, pretty clean, and works well with a suppressor.

Regrettably price for ammunition during the shortage is higher than previous pricing. That said, this is a great range practice round. Recommend.

I've shot approx 2,000 rounds no failures. Good cheap rang ammo a little dirty not excessive.

bought 50 rounds to run through my ruger cmdr no issues loading or cycling for practice on paper,plates and pins so came back and ordered 500 more rounds

Wonderful damage to targets

This is likely the storage of the ammo, not the ammo itself. The brass showed corrosion/scuffs/blemishes. The cartridge was not damaged and, I've already taken a deer with it, but was surprised it did not look 'new' I was also hoping for not having to trail much, and I didn't get the effect I wanted in that department.

It is perfect for target and practice. If you were to use it as a tool for defense or protection, a more durable FMJ would be a better choice. I am more interested in playing than owning a tool.

Gun jammed…. Bullet got stuck in the barrel, still shot 2 rounds than got jammed. Realized the bullet was stuck halfway through. Could’ve exploded in my face! Unfortunately no more Ammo Inc for me. Same thing happened to another gentleman on the range.

Atrocious performance in three different .45s: FNX-45, Glock 21, and 1911. Underpowered because it kept causing failure to eject and failure to load issues. Swapped this garbage out of the magazines with federal and all three were running smoothly. Avoid this brand

The casing will not load into chamber. Tried different rounds mostly all rounds due the same. My firearm is clean and has no issues. This is ammo deficit.

I bought 500 rounds of this, fired less than 10 rounds, and I will never load another round from this manufacturer. My new Taurus Judge Magnum has at least 1 probably 2 bullets lodged in the barrel. I've never experienced bullet slip before and didn't immediately pick up on the problem while my little brother was shooting. The 1st 6 rounds were normal. Bullets 7 & 8 didn't make a loud bang, more of a poof. A competition shooter that happened to be at the range heard it & said "check the barrel". I ran to my brother and I stopped him before #9. Sure enough the barrel is completely blocked. This was the 4th time this gun has been to the range and the 1st time I've used this ammunition. We were at the range to dial in the new red dot when this happened. The gentleman explained to me that this is the result of the bullet not being crimped properly. He went on to point out that a failure rate of 2/8 suggests very poor quality control. I believe what he told me. My NEW gun is effectively useless because of poor quality control & bad crimps. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT. Can I return this junk?

I bought one box of this just to try out.. I was shooting it through my LCP, granted I haven't shot much, just one mag, 7 rounds, had one that the primer dented and didnt go off, reloaded it and it fired.. but i still have 40+ rounds to try

Sub 2 MOA with service M-14 open sights. Bettered comparable match loads by Hornady, Remington, Black Hills by at least 1/2 MOA. Bring more of this into stock!

This is my second purchase of this ammo. The first purchase was 60 rounds. I had a great time zeroing and shoot the rifle suppressed. This ammo out performed my expectations. This purchase was 200 rounds for $342.00 including shipping. So $1.60 delivered to the front door was worth it to me. Happy shooting.

Works well enough, only had a few malfunctions in 1000 rounds shot. My big gripe is that the jackets separate from the lead core as the bullet leaves your muzzle. This does seem to be widespread on the forums that I have read. Blazer has even responded via email and acknowledged that this does happen, something related to cost savings in the manufacture process to ensure cheaper prices for the end consumer. They say there is no risk of damage to your firearm, and I have no reason not to believe that. but there is a risk if you are using Blazer ammo in live-fire training exercises, where other students might be within close proximity. some instructors have even banned the use of Blazer ammo in their training classes. So basically it is a great cheap range ammo, if you don't mind the occasional speckling of copper bits on your targets. just don't use it for live fire training exercises where you are within close proximity to other people.

I have been practicing with this ammunition with good results since July 2023. I have qualified on the ICE Course with the JHP version with satisfactory results.

Works great out of my 11.5" bcm and my 18" 1:8 twist barrel consistent groups and no issues.

The ammo is well priced and I have had no jams in a bodyguard 2.0 which is a small pistol. The gun is relatively clean after use, it uses the bodyguard 2.0's 2 section ramp flawlessly. The ammunition is accurate and is good for a self defense gun. I will buy again.

This ammo has the small primer pockets with no mention of it. I purchased 1000 rounds. When I noticed it had the small primers and contacted Ammo.com I was told it could not be exchanged for 45 ACP with the large pockets after 30 days, it was 31 days after the purchase. I reload everything so to me this is worthless. All they had to do is write one sentence, small primer pockets and I would have gone to the next 45 ammo. Now I will go to a different supplier.

I wasn’t able to shoot this ammo for about a month after ordering it and I was slightly concerned that it would malfunction but the ammo did great. Had a blast shooting and went through about 200 rounds yesterday, looking forwards to the rest of the ammo being shot.
