Overview of Bulk 9mm Ammo

Initially driven by military and law enforcement, bulk 9mm is now essential for civilian shooters who value preparedness and savings. After all, who doesn't love having a well-stocked supply of the world’s most trusted cartridge?

Stocking up in bulk covers your training needs, but it’s worth having a trusted defensive option alongside it. Many shooters turn to Federal HST 9mm defensive load for its proven consistency in personal protection.

How will your 9mm ammo be delivered?

Your ammo purchase will be shipped straight to your door in a discrete, unmarked package.

What’s the benefit to buying bulk ammo?

  1. You save more money: Probably the biggest reason to buy bulk 9mm ammo is the cost savings it affords you. Save upwards of 10¢ per round!
  2. You’re ready for the range: If there’s one thing that 2020 taught us, it’s that supply chains are fragile. Bulk purchases ensure you’ll always be locked and loaded.
  3. You reduce the hassle of reordering: With bulk purchases, you reduce the frequency of having to reorder, ensuring you always have enough ammo on hand for any occasion.
  4. You shoot more consistently: Buying in bulk ensures that you have a consistent supply of the same ammo, which can improve accuracy and performance by eliminating variations between different batches.
  5. You'll be prepared for anything: Having a bulk supply means you're always prepared for any unexpected need, whether it’s a spontaneous range day or an emergency situation.
  6. You support some great organizations: With every purchase, Ammo.com makes a donation in your name to a freedom-loving charity at no expense to you. See who we support here!

What are the most popular 9mm brands which you sell in bulk?

You can filter our entire selection using the left sidebar to see which brands we currently have in-stock and available in bulk using the Manufacturers filter.

How much does 1000 rounds of 9mm ammo cost?

1000 round cases of 9mm can cost as low as 21¢ per round, which will save you considerably more than if you were to buy 20 round boxes each time you hit the range. According to data from ammopricesnow.com, 9mm ammo reached its highest price in 2021 at 71¢ per round, but its historical average is 29¢ per round.

Price is only part of the equation. Bullet weight also plays a big role in performance. If you're deciding between 115, 124, or 147 grain 9mm, take a look at our guide on the best grain for 9mm to see which option best fits your needs. For shooters who land on 115gr, the Fiocchi 9mm 115gr FMJ is one of the most reliable and cost-effective bulk range rounds available.

How does 9mm compare to other calibers?

Caliber Recoil Pros Cons
.25 ACP Much less Extremely concealable, minimal recoil Far less stopping power, limited ammo and firearm selection
.380 ACP Low Lightweight, low recoil Less stopping power, limited range
.45 ACP High High stopping power, good for defense Heavy recoil, lower capacity
.40 S&W Moderate Balanced power, popular for defense Snappy recoil, can be expensive
.38 Super Moderate-High Higher velocity, flatter trajectory, competition favorite More expensive, less available, higher recoil than 9mm
.357 SIG High High velocity, good penetration High recoil, limited availability
.357 Magnum High Excellent stopping power, versatile High recoil, often in revolvers
5.7mm Low High velocity, armor-piercing Expensive, less common
10mm High Very powerful, good for hunting Heavy recoil, can be hard to control

Getting 124 grain rounds cheaper or at the price of other brand 115 grain rounds, i say might a well grab these! Went thru 1k rounds way too fast.. i guess time flies when you're having fun! Great product for the price

  • Richie said:

Worked every time I i pulled the trigger. Clean and reliable. Great range ammo.

  • Bruce said:

Very few jams. 1000's of rds. Very satisfied for the cost.

  • Martin said:

I thought I was buying Blazer brass. Now I have 1000 rounds of aluminum casings. Be careful what you order.

This ammo does not foul up your barrel. Shoots as clean as Federal American Eagle. I buy in bulk, and recommend your try some out.

  • Aaron said:

Shot around 300 of these over the weekend, w/ no issues. We used them in 3 pistols, Canik SFX, Hellcat & Smith & Wesson, also shot them through the Hi Point T995 Carbine. Amazing performance & not a single problem.

I am a ARMY Vet from OPERATION DESERT SHIELD/STORM back in 1990-1992 and have been shooting for a long time. When I shoot I look for a few things like, the weight, the feel, and the accuracy of the bullet. I own 3 Glocks, Smith & Wesson M&P9 and a Sigma and a Ruger all in 9mm and go to the range at least 2-3 times a month and each time I go I'll shoot on average 500 rounds each time and for me the CCI Blazer 9mm FMJ fits me well. Other websites charge anywhere from $250-280 for a 1000 rounds and they send them out for delivery and it takes about 7-10 days, BUT, when I found this website and looked into to it and it sounded good. So I bought my first 1000 rounds last week and it was at my door in 3 days and the cost for shipping and ammo was so much cheaper and faster. With that said I'm ordering another 2000 rounds today. This is just how I feel and everyone else is different. So thank you AMMO.COM and I will be buying more ammo from you and telling other people about your website.

I purchased this ammunition during the ammunition shortage. I fired it through my Taurus G2C. It fed, fired, and ejected every time! No problems at all.

  • Donmic said:

2 % miss fires, shoots well

  • Freddy said:

Great ammo, just have to clean your gun more often. It gets dirty fast

  • Itzallgoodmang said:

Bought this ammo because it was cheaper than the brass. This ammo works just as good as the brass in the same caliber and brand. Perfect for target practice.

  • BanDanA said:

I like the product. But for the last few weeks since buying it I keep getting emails to review it, so here I am to finally get them to leave me alone.

  • Larry said:

The ammo was shipped real fast. No jams or misfires shot 250 rounds no problems

  • David M said:

I had no problems with the Canik, Echelon and the S&W FPC.

  • patrick said:

I got what I paid for. With every pull of the trigger you get sparkles of poor quality powder out the end of the barrel as well as sparkles still burning in the casing as it falls to the floor. Ammo.com has been awesome to deal with and I would recommend them to anyone, the MagTech ammo not so much.

  • Bob said:

Tried some of this ammo that I bought locally, and it runs well so I bought more from Ammo.com at a better price.

  • Happy target shooter said:

A friend and I shot 250 rounds yesterday with no problems at all. In terms of accuracy, I can only say that none of the targets we used survived the day. I used a Springfield xg9 and he used a G17.

  • Tobert said:

I've fired minimal rounds through so far, but I haven't had any problems with it.

  • Robert A said:

So far I've gone through 750/1000 rounds without issue in my CZ 75 SP-01. Cheap for range use. Will continue to purchase for range use so long as do not have issues. Remember, steel steel does not expand like brass which allows for more dirt to enter gun. Keep your firearm clean. So far, so good.

Shot about 400 rounds with only 1 jam. Otherwise for steel casings they did very well. Can't beat the price and shipping was very quick

  • David said:

Shipping was fast and as far as target shooting every round performance was as to be expected. I shot every round out of my glock 19x and I had no issues with any shot.

  • Wizard said:

Price was good and that’s it. Out of 150 rounds misfired at least 4 times. Last time had to take my piston to gun store to get bullet removed. I’m stuck with 850 rounds

  • Nedley said:

    Says it all!!

  • Joe said:

Great stuff. Feels a little hot compared to blazer. No malfunctions so far after 1500 rounds

  • Bruce said:

I have shot over 1000 rounds in my Glock 43x mos. This is the only round that consistently jams at least 4 times per 50 rds No other brand has ever jammed. Plus it's very dirty.

  • Fatbear said:

    I will buy again

  • Anthony said:

I get the steel case Magtech, cause its a little cheaper, but I usually have 2 or 3 thr doesn't fire. The primer has a deep strike on it. But when i try it again, it does go off. Dont know if it's a bad primer or what? My pistol is a stock glock 19. Except for the crappy plastic sights.

  • Jay said:

500 rounds into a box of 1000, zero failures so far, dirtier than the brass I usually shoot.

  • Deadpool said:

Great ammo at a great price. No issues. Guns did not jam once.

  • Shooter said:

This has to be the worst ammo I have ever used without exception. Shot all kinds of steel, brass and aluminum through two guns. Using this caused all types of issues. It will shoot until you have extraction issues then you need to disassemble your firearm and pry the spent case from the chamber.

  • Sh00ter said:

Was excited to try this new, cost friendly ammo where I do not reload myself. Ran 100 rounds through my shield plus what has had over 1000 rounds through with no issues to have 3 stove pipes in 100 rounds. Upon inspection of ammo some have a burr on them from the bullets going into the casings. Poor quality control on Magtech part! One box had over 10 quality issues. Do not recommend this product!!
