Purchased 50 rounds, but have only shot 18 so far. I've had no problems at all. Shoots nice and clean, and no duds. I love the federal ammo so far. My only knock was on the value....which I dropped down 1 notch. The price for the 50 round box is awesome, but the shipping and handling hurt the value...still when you can't find the ammo you are looking for locally, the shipping and handling isn't much of an issue. Only shot a dozen rounds at the range. Personal defense and carry ammo currently. Cycled great, no issues cycled cleanly, using it in my FN509, 12, 15, 24 rd mags. Again accurate, cycles clean, and no issues. Can't speak on stopping power, and hope to never have to.

I almost ordered these by mistake. I have a stash of the POINTED Soft point PSP that I run with excellent results out of my Maadi. The AK was designed to run spire pointed rounds which is correctly the PSP version of the PPU ammo. Round nose is a safety feature geared toward lever guns tubular magazines think 30-30 Winch or old tech 30-40 Krag. All of what I shot fed fired and ejected without complaint. Accuracy is acceptable.

This is the ammo I've decided to use in my handgun. Given the velocity, the recoil is smooth, consistent and manageable. I'm on target with Fiocchi.

Shooting this round for 10years. Pure bargain. 1:12 Twist, 20 inch barrel: 0.6 MOA every time!

I have shot this brand of ammo before, it has always performed well in my semi-auto without jaming, and is very accurate in my particular weapon.

Five deer taken on my ranch with this ammo: two neck shots, two head shots, and one shoulder shot ( 106 yds) . All dropped in their tracks! The shoulder shot hit a rib but still exited the body with a one inch exit wound that would have facilitated tracking, had it been necessary.

Was looking for Silver State but they went out of business go I bought this ammo and boy am I glad I bought Hornady. I bought 2250 rounds of it for some reason, and I still have about 1800 left and in these times, I am glad I done so this a great all-around ammo hunting home defense and just doing some target practice. I was glad to read law enforcement is thinking about using this round. Bad guys look out is all I have to say!

Use this for deer hunting, very accurate, taken 2 deer , 1 standing at 140 yards and 1 running at 80 yards away, both dropped on the spot, the bullet causes alot of damage for its size, only down fall the soft lead tip sometime get messed up when loading from a mag

The .270 is a flat shooting Caliber, and big enough to take down many species. I prefer to use 150 grain, and sight in my rifle to 300 yards

These shells are mean, they break bones as they travel through the animal

Put 100 rounds thru my p95 ruger.No jamming issues,smooth recoil,and good penetration.

I bought this and it won't cycle my rifle (AR style) contacted both Ammo.com and Sellier & Bellot fed me a line of BS now I have 60 rounds of paperweight ammo. Both companies failed in my opinion. Terrible customer service.

I tried running this through my Stribog and had a failure to feed every 2-3 rounds ,through 3 different mags ! Switched over to Winchester white box 180gr. FMJ and every round loaded and shot great ! It was obvious that the S&B didn't have the power to blow the bolt back but halfway ! S&B 10mm loads might work better in a semi- auto pistol with a much lighter bolt !

Not sure what the negative reviews are about, this ammo works great. I have dropped aoudad in their tracks at 385 and those guys are notoriously tough. Fantastic accuracy and reliability.

My lady and I love PSA RIFLES! We had a hard time finding accureet ammo that ran through psa 16" .300 blk out upper but this ammo is flawless and got my 13 yr old son his first youth hunt deer that didn't go more than 40 yards!! Amazing ammo with our set up !!!

Easier to shoot than my .45 colt. More precise SW 500 ammo. I can't tell the difference between 300 grain and 500 grain. Both accurate and not much change in recoil. Want recoil?!! Don't shoot a bear load unless your wrists are tough.

The ballistics are accurately defined. It takes down large game availabil in the USA & Canida. I DO NOT TRAVEL OUT OF NORTH AMERICA.

The 185 grain cycled thru both my Glocks and Para-Ordnance 1911 LDA without any problems. The .40SW feed thru my Beretta Strorm Carbines and both were very accuate and fairly clean burining.

I was testing a new Canik TTI combat and had numerous stove pipes, failure to battery and miss fires. I believe it was the firearm and not the ammo.

My 270 loves this ammo, Elk, Blacktail Deer, Whitetail Deer and Antelope are no match for this solid round. Drops it where it stands. I will not shoot anything else but this bullet, 130 gr.

I would recommend this ammo to any Texan for self defence. As, both my wife and I are licensed open and carry Texans we believe that it is best to be prepared and aware of our surroundings, especially in this day of violence.

There extremely well made and makes a ton of noise just the way I like it. Done blew up 4 pounds of tanerite in my back yard. Definitely can't complain

I bought 500 rounds a year or so ago and have really enjoyed it. I use it in my Ruger LCP and have had no problems at all. It's smooth shooting. easy to load and what more can I say, some of the best ammo I've used. The price was excellent. I always check the site for great deals and have found them.

Excellent ammo. Shot several hundred rounds from from my GP-100, Ruger Redhawk .357, and Henry Big Boy Steel with no problems. Great ballistics, and very accurate. Will buy again.

These shells are great for target practice

I bought this stuff just to try it, really. I've only fired about 20 of the 50 rounds by now. I will say that I experienced no issues with it (jams, etc.), and it's easy to put on-target from up to 25 yards. It did leave a little extra soot in my Glock 19, and it produces a fairly strong "burnt powder" smell when fired. Not a big issue at all, but it does seem to fire "dirtier" than most ammo I'm used to. I don't have much experience with Frangible ammo, but it seemed to work exactly as advertised.

The ammo worked well and reliably in my Desert Eagle, with no jams or malfunctions. I would recommend it anytime.

Shot about 50 rounds through Ruger super Redhawk. lots of punch, good clean shell. Considering today's prices, good value.

I bought this ammo for my Marlin 1895 after purchasing a different brand of ammo initially for my first range session that I was happy with Accuracy wise for the most part but not so much with the power of the rounds. Well i can tell you that these Prvi rounds performed well across the board, accuracy, quality and big power, which is what I wanted in the rounds I'd be using for this rifle both at the range and in the woods. I try to practice with the same or similar rounds I'd be using when hunting or for self defense. train how you fight is what I was taught. buy these rounds and you wont be disappointed.

This is likely the storage of the ammo, not the ammo itself. The brass showed corrosion/scuffs/blemishes. The cartridge was not damaged and, I've already taken a deer with it, but was surprised it did not look 'new' I was also hoping for not having to trail much, and I didn't get the effect I wanted in that department.

A pleasant surprise for quality in value provided and accuracy. Performed well in 3 different firearms ( 2 pistols, 1 carbine style rifle) . Had previous excellent experience with various loads of .22 caliber offerings from this manufacturer.

Used .308 Win in 180gr. Everything was cool, until I chronographed some. Came in at 2650fps, which to me is firstly too fast on African game, and closer to max pressure than I am comfortable with. Other than that, good ammo and cases (been reloading my used factory ammo cases, no issues).

This ammunition runs well in short barrel suppressed weapon systems. High carbon buildup, but it is to be expected. I recommend buying this one in bulk.

Good ammo when it works. I bought 40 rounds of 6.5 carcono and have shot 25 rounds and 6 out of those 25 misfired

This Ammo shoots well, However when trying to reload the brass I broke 2 decapping pins in my sizing die. I cut the head off two cases and found the flash hole is off center. So even though the ammo shoots well it cannot be reloaded.

Bought 500 rds. first mag, would not feed, S&W M&P, tried it in a Taurus 709 same thing, tried some in a hi-point 9mm, made it through the first mag then the second, hmm what;s up with this? third mag 2nd round no feed, 4th same. Sorry to say I wasted hard earned money on target and practice ammo I can't use. Don't buy.

The ammo didn’t cycle at all, I threw in some Winchester of the same price Range and it cycled fine

I ran these through my brand new rifle. And it did not cycle. I thought maybe it just needed a break in period but I ran a different ammo and it cycled. Just fine, my buddy put this ammo. Through his rifle and same thing, it would not cycle consistently. Not accurate at all. Just to all around garbage

No surprise here but the price per round shows as 63.8 cents. With shipping and sales tax, that easily went to about 85 cents. I did receive it in a timely fashion and it was well-padded in a cardboard box but would have preferred different packing from the factory. My error. A range pack means loose rounds inside a box. The ammo itself is so-so for its intended purpose. I also purchased Belom 7.62x39 (no longer available here) and cannot address ammo quality yet, but the factory packaging (20 rounds per PLASTIC case) was phenomenal.

took my Ruger Precision to the range a week ago and fired 40 rounds at 200 yards using 143 grain precision hunter eld-x ammo obliterated the bulls eye on my targets this ammo is awesome shot groups were tight

Bought 250 rounds and shot 200 of them. Obviously absolutely no problems whatsoever as expected. These are pricey but how often are you firing massive rounds of self-defense ammo?
