00 Buck Ammo For Sale
Overview of 00 Buck Ammo
00 buckshot, or double-aught buck, is one of the most iconic and widely recognized types of shotgun ammunition, thanks in part to its frequent use in movies and television. Originally designed for hunting large game like deer and moose, 00 buckshot remains a popular choice for those seeking powerful stopping power and penetration.
With a .330-inch diameter and nine large pellets per round, 00 buckshot offers impressive force, making it ideal for hunting in areas with light brush or for home defense. The multiple projectiles create a devastating wound channel, which is effective in stopping threats or taking down large game. Whether for hunting or self-defense, 00 buckshot is a versatile and accessible option, found in most gun shops and commonly available in 12 gauge.
While 00 buckshot is most popular in 12 gauge, it's also an excellent choice in 20 gauge for shooters who want lighter recoil without giving up stopping power. If you're considering trying 00 buck in a lighter platform, take a look at our full selection of 20 gauge ammo to compare loads, velocities, and pellet configurations. For those who train regularly or stock up for hunting season, purchasing 20 gauge ammo bulk offers better value and ensures you're prepared when it counts.

These shells are longer than 2 3/4" but shorter than 3", which means you'll one less in your tube magazine than expected. So just treat them like 3" shells.
