These shells are longer than 2 3/4" but shorter than 3", which means you'll one less in your tube magazine than expected. So just treat them like 3" shells.

Reviewed alot of u tube videos regarding this ammo. I purchased 12ga and 20ga and both performed flawlessly out of my mossberg 590 and sa 20 guns. The pattern itself is perfect for what I want in a home defense round. 10yds 1" - 1-1/4" , 20 yds 3" - 3-1/2", 40 yds 9"- 10" pattern. No fliers. Very impressive ammo.
