12 Gauge Shotgun Shells For Sale
History of 12 Gauge Shotgun Shells
The 12 gauge is the most used shotgun shell today, and it has existed in its current cartridge configuration since the late 1800s. Twelve gauge rounds, often seen as 12ga, are used in various situations, including hunting birds and small game, recreational shooting, and home defense.
These ammunitions provide various options in close quarters but don’t perform well at long-distance shots because the projectiles quickly lose their velocity; they require a close-range target, typically 45 yards or less.

Great ammo . Does what it should do. I just wish AMMO.COM had better gear . A shirt with their logo on the front and back, would be a huge seller.

The pattern was awesome. The shot had no problem hitting the target and knocking them down.

I wish the shooter performed as well as these rounds! I shoot 250 and one week I was red hot and the second round I was cold! So basically When it was warmer I thought the rounds shot hot....but in the cooler weather the gun performed better. These were an excellent target round for shooting skeet for the price!

These were cheap. All the slugs are crooked in the casings, im not sure how this is supposed to be accurate. result was, as expected, very inaccurate. Fine for close range only.

Shot 2" groups at 50 yds. Fun for range day and hitting melons. Not super expensive.

FEDERAL AND CENTURION 2 3/4" HP SLUGS SHOOT EXACTLY THE SAME! CENTURION IS CHEAPER AND CANNOT BE FOUND. FEDERAL 2 3/4" HP SLUGS WILL KILL DEER UP TO 110 YARDS. IF YOU WISH TO IMPROVE ACCURACY THEN GET YOUR BARREL CRYOED AT 300BELOW.COM. I'VE HAD MY GUNS AND KNIVES CRYOED THERE FOR 30 YEARS AND I'VE NEVER HAD A BAD RESULT! I CAN PUT THE FIRST 2 SLUGS IN TE SAME HOLE SHOOTING FREEHAND. THE THIRD IS 2"S TO THE RIGHT OF THE SECOND SHOT.

When I bought a used Mossberg-manufactured12ga fully rifled slug barrel for my Remington 870, I bought several different brands and loadings of slugs to pattern from the bench. These slugs shot the tightest groups of ANY I tried, had manageable recoil and were among the least expensive per round. I had Brenneke-style slugs, plain rifled Foster unsaboted slugs, as well as a couple of the newer saboted, all copper and copper hollow-point types costing $3-$4 or more per round. Some 2 3/4" and some 3". I see no reason to sue any other brand or load in my particular shotgun.
