Some time ago I picked up 1000 rounds of MBI ammo, probably through Lucky Gunner. I finally got around to using it, and my M9A3 had a ton of failure to feed issues. I picked up a 9mm Sherridan case guage, and out of the 1000 rnds, about 100 of them are bad. They literally get stuck in the gauge to the point you can't easily get them out... which is why the don't work. Pretty horrible QC and very unimpressive.

Purchased 50 rounds, but have only shot 18 so far. I've had no problems at all. Shoots nice and clean, and no duds. I love the federal ammo so far. My only knock was on the value....which I dropped down 1 notch. The price for the 50 round box is awesome, but the shipping and handling hurt the value...still when you can't find the ammo you are looking for locally, the shipping and handling isn't much of an issue. This ammo has proven to be the most accurate I've found out of a Remy 700 HB with a 1:12 twist. Had almost given up on accuracy with this rifle, but this load yielded 0.7 MOA (100 yds, calm day, off support).

Shoots good for bulk ammo, a little waxy, so a few extra FTFs. You will have to keep up with cleaning your firearm each time or wipe down ammo before loading magazines

CCI Standard Velocity: This ammunition handles it all. If your firearm experiences issues feeding or grouping with this load, the issue is almost certainly the gun itself, not the ammunition. It is highly recommended to buy it by the case. Ammo.com was fast and effiecient.

Works perfectly for older revolvers. These didn't blow up 1900s 4th model top break. A little bit dirty but thats to be expected from a LRN

I'm with Dave. I've had a cz-82 for going on 15 years now and the only time the gun hasn't fired was when the trigger guard broke. It was a prior Check police issue firearm that was beat up and had seen who knows how many rounds through it. Replaced the guard with one for cz-83. I've fired every kind of cheap, crap ammo I can find and it has never not fired, excluding the time above. I guess gone are the days where you could get a 10 dollar box of silver bear ammo.

All I have to say is the ammo is crap. It does not eject from the gun, and they swell up and jam the gun. It cost $75 to unjam the gun.

I shoot this and numerous other brands of 17 HMR bullets out of a scoped, old age and bad eyes, CZ 452 bolt action rifle and over the past 17 years I have not had any problems with this or any other brand of 17s. The quality of brass and bullets are par for Winchester, I’m satisfied with it and wouldn’t hesitate to buy more should I need it, Have a sufficient supply for now.

This round is not very popular but it is for a gun my dad left me. I smile every time I shoot it. The service and product is excellent.

Have run over 14,000 rounds(yes...that's fourteen-thousand- plus) through my Sig P229 and I believe maybe two or three were misfires. I am very satisfied with the product.

this ammo sucked and i bout 500 rnds.

I put 40 rounds through my 1872 Uberti open top and every round went boom but not all hit the hanging metal plate I was shooting at. Must be something wrong with the ammo…. It couldn’t have been me! Bottom line is that it performed great and I’ll be purchasing more just as soon as I pay off my new glasses.

Speaking specifically of 45 ball ammo. Years ago I once had a AD inside my house. I was amazed at the performance. It went thru 3 walls, changed direction 3x due to hitting wall studs before finally stopping against the inside brick cavity at the exterior of the house. I recovered the bullet and it had only minor deformation. Since then I keep and extra mag of Ball just in case.

Received the shipment quickly. Shooting was little soft but that could just be me. The price was around 10 % lower than other suppliers. Barrel seemed to need cleaning more often. ats it

I've been using this brand for some time and must say it is excellent. It may be a slight bit dirtier than the CCI and Winchester ammo I used in the past. I have never had a misfire or jam with this ammo and always smooth ejections from my guns. The accuracy is outstanding from bullet to bullet. I highly recommend this ammo to the hunter or non completion target shooter. You will NOT be disappointed with this ammos all around performance.

This ammo is smoking hot. Really fast. My groupings were better than with standard 230 gr. ammo. Gets the job done.

I shot 60 rounds of this flat nose stuff along with a fair amount of PMC, Magtech, and Hornady to break in my new 2.0. Every one of these bullets fed, shot, and extracted smoothly. A flat nose 380 gives a smash cavity in your target instead of a round nose just slipping past tissue and deflecting off bone. Best choice for self d.

I have a bear creek arsenal upper in 223 wild with a 20inch SS slick side charge and man I'm telling you that this stuff shoots 5 shots into 1/2 inch groups all day long, I bought this ammo because it shoots as flat as a 22,250 55 grain bullets do, I've yet to shoot any yotees yet but when I do you guys will be the first to know, I can't wait!!!!!

Barely had to clean my rifle after shooting an entire box and had my rifle dialed in very quickly as a result of very little shot variation using this ammo.

Had a few FTFs with this latest batch with my Canik TP9 SFx but shot well for my wife's Canik Mete SFx Pro. The previous 2k rounds of Blazer Brass were good with no issues. Its budget ammo and I don't have it loaded for defense so I'm ok with a few FTF per 1k rounds. Is there better ammo quality and performance...yes, is there a better value for subsonic range ammo, no.

After two purchases of this ammo, can only recommend if you enjoy cleaning your guns after every shooting session. Good price, but very dirty, caused failure to feeds in semi auto rifle and pistol, gummed up revolver cylinder enough to where I could barely push rounds in. Seems to be covered in a rubbery, gummy substance. If you can't afford anything else (like I couldn't), better than nothing. You'll spend the savings on solvent cleaning your guns.

Bought a fairly new Mossberg 702 Plinkster Bought 500 rounds of various ammo to test. Had no issues with this box, it was cheap and as accurate as any other in this cheap gun. Had some jamming issues with another brand, not with this stuff.

Bought the Wolf in 95gr FMJ. Missfires, jams, and stovepipes in my Ruger LCP. 1st 25 rds were ok , but at the end of 50 wold jam every time. May be dirty powder. I took it home and gave a good cleaning .......will try again.

Frequent misfeeds in my FEG, Silver Bear has no such issues so better to just pay the extra for higher quality.

Speer makes great ammo. Unfortunately, with supply so low, prices are high. But, you better have good ammo on hand. This is good!!!!

These rounds are like a band. They jam! All jokes aside, I'm on my first box, and I've had numerous jams. 7 jams in 50 rounds. That's also with 2 different magazines to feed these rounds.

Modern Super-X 44-40 hunting loads only get 1,190fps advertised, limiting this cartridge to only 100 yards. Mine chronographed 1,025fps. Original black powder factory loads achieved 1,325fps and were killers out to 300 yards, later reduced to 1,245, then back up to 1,325fps with smokeless loads. By the1960's they were reduced to 1,310fps when rifle powder was replaced by ball powders. By 1978 Winchester started using flake pistol powders, further reducing performance down to the now 1,190fps advertised velocity. Not to mention from 1903 to 1941, Winchester manufactured 1,565fps High Velocity loads used for the Model 92' Winchesters and other like rifles like the Marlin 1894. Winchester further nurtured the 44-40 with the mouse fart "Cowboy" reduced loads of only 900fps from a rifle. Thus I give the modern factory loads a 2 for performance, a 2 for value since folks are paying an arm and a leg for neutered ammunition. Cost twice as much as other brands. No difference in accuracy at 25 yards from a benchrest than the cheap stuff thru my new Mossberg 702 Plinkster . This did not jam, but neither did 8 other brands/models. all much cheaper.

For the price, it is great range ammo. I used this ammo in a P64, The polish version of a Makarov. The P64 is known to have a somewhat high reliability, so I was surprised to have 2 rounds out of 50 short stroke. I did clean and lube the gun properly before use.

What can I say? It's Federal. Never fails, clean burning, consistent shot after shot. My first choice for factory new ammo.

The 185 grain cycled thru both my Glocks and Para-Ordnance 1911 LDA without any problems. The .40SW feed thru my Beretta Strorm Carbines and both were very accuate and fairly clean burining.

Ammo worked well no issues

this ammo shoots so smooth out my 3-inch model 36 Smith and Wesson that it allows my wife to group the shots very tight with a very slight muzzle flip at 40 feet. If I am not home, my wife can pick up the revolver and point and shoot without worrying about safety's, slides, magazines, clip in or out etc. - as she would have a lot of other things to think about in a pressure situation including threat assessment and visual target identification

This ammo is absolutely excellent, it ran flawlessly through my Glock 20 with no malfunctions. All of the rounds looked phenomenal no dinged casings, bad primers, or tarnishing on the casing or led bullet. This ammo is what I personally have loaded for my home defense round. Would I recommend this ammo to others? Yes, in fact I believe in it so much I trust my life to it.

I hand load 55g blitzing for my AR and these performed exactly like my hand loads no adjustment in windage or elevation was needed. Although I didn't have time to run them through the chronograph with the performance at 100 yards I'd say the advertised velocity is spot on with a 24 inch barrel.

Shot ammo in a Glock 27 Gen 4 with very little problem. Ammo jammed a couple of times, but I don't think the ammo was the problem. I will buy more Prvi Partizan ( PPU) ammo when possible in .40 cal, 9mm, and 357 sig. Great stuff. Shoots cleaner than most other I have found.

This is an amazing load out of a 9-inch Sig MCX pistol. Ran 10 rounds at 25 yards in less than a inch diameter, at an average velocity of 2150 fps with energy of 1129 ft-lbs - this load is why 300BLK is THE thing to run in your AR pistol/SBR.

I bought 500 rounds a year or so ago and have really enjoyed it. I use it in my Ruger LCP and have had no problems at all. It's smooth shooting. easy to load and what more can I say, some of the best ammo I've used. The price was excellent. I always check the site for great deals and have found them.

At 200 meters can hit a quarter from either a TCenter or Savage rifle. Kills buck deer with just one hit in the chest, same killing power as any 7mm or .30 caliber but with much less recoil. The 6.5 mm CM is the new standard to displace the .308 or .3006 ; why suffer more recoild with no more killing power?

No jams, zero feed issues. Shoots clean . 4 star for performance was only due to it being 40 target ammo and the grouping wandered about 1/2 inch up or down. Over all was still in the mass zone at 21 and at 30 feet .

These are good shells, and high quality from a name you know. Pretty good valve as well, so you can probably afford to shoot all day!

It looks odd since it’s a grey casing but I had zero malfunctions and feeding issues with my Glock. It has a low muzzle flash compared more expensive rounds and packs a punch

The ammo shoots perfectly out of my picky 1911. I had zero malfunctions out of 500 rounds shot. Fiocchi ammo gave me an average of one malfunction / 50 rounds shot. My only gripes are that the bullets look a little dirty, which of course had no issue with performance. And mostly the only thing I didn't like was that the tray the bullets come in is made out of Styrofoam so it leaves little foam bits all over the counter at the range.... All in all I would buy again.

No misfires, reduction of recoil, just as accurate if not better than FMJ rounds.

I have used and carried, due to the recorded performance in ballistic gel and the recorded results of various barrier penetrations. I definitely have no problem using as my EDC ammo on a daily basis

I bought this ammo for my Marlin 1895 after purchasing a different brand of ammo initially for my first range session that I was happy with Accuracy wise for the most part but not so much with the power of the rounds. Well i can tell you that these Prvi rounds performed well across the board, accuracy, quality and big power, which is what I wanted in the rounds I'd be using for this rifle both at the range and in the woods. I try to practice with the same or similar rounds I'd be using when hunting or for self defense. train how you fight is what I was taught. buy these rounds and you wont be disappointed.

Worked like it should it went in the gun. it came out of the gun . so it worked just fine.

I gave it 3 stars for value because ammo is way too expensive at this time. It's especially true for any Suppressor Ammo (Sub Sonic). The ammo shoots fine, pretty clean, and works well with a suppressor.

Regrettably price for ammunition during the shortage is higher than previous pricing. That said, this is a great range practice round. Recommend.

I've run this through a couple different .22 rifles and it's always cycled. Great for plinking.

I do a LOT of shooting with rim fire .22 ammo and hunt small game for the pot. This ammo is accurate, and shot to shot quality is stellar. Best I've ever used and ordering more. A bit pricey but you pay for quality.

Punched right through 1/4 inch steel plate like hot butter. Same plate easily stops steel core .223 rounds.

It is perfect for target and practice. If you were to use it as a tool for defense or protection, a more durable FMJ would be a better choice. I am more interested in playing than owning a tool.

I have about 400 rounds through my Browning SA 22 and Hight Standard outlet Nine. The are accurate and run well through the Browning but are difficult to load and extract from my revolver. The cases are very tight in the cylinder. I thought the cylinder might be dirty at first but after cleaning there was no improvement. Remington and Federal loaded and extracted with no problem

45-70 is always exspense, but it is one of the oldest Ammo out there. Performance has always been consistant, and has allowed US to get the job done

Gun jammed…. Bullet got stuck in the barrel, still shot 2 rounds than got jammed. Realized the bullet was stuck halfway through. Could’ve exploded in my face! Unfortunately no more Ammo Inc for me. Same thing happened to another gentleman on the range.

The ammo is very good; the faster velocity makes the 40 gr. bullet a more accurate round over the 1235 fps. ammo. It is also a lot louder than your average round fired. All and all, this ammo works very well in my Browning Buck Mark Carbine.

I've already had several (over 70) misfires (4 boxes in) from 5 types of guns = did not expect that.

Bought this ammo based off of CCI name and brand. Do not buy. It wouldn't cycle in the Ruger 22. Constant problems and a long day at the range....

Bought a brick of this ammo when I purchased a 22 long rifle conversion for my AR. It would not cycle! Also tried it in a AR style 22 rifle. Would not cycle!

Atrocious performance in three different .45s: FNX-45, Glock 21, and 1911. Underpowered because it kept causing failure to eject and failure to load issues. Swapped this garbage out of the magazines with federal and all three were running smoothly. Avoid this brand

The casing will not load into chamber. Tried different rounds mostly all rounds due the same. My firearm is clean and has no issues. This is ammo deficit.

I bought 500 rounds of this, fired less than 10 rounds, and I will never load another round from this manufacturer. My new Taurus Judge Magnum has at least 1 probably 2 bullets lodged in the barrel. I've never experienced bullet slip before and didn't immediately pick up on the problem while my little brother was shooting. The 1st 6 rounds were normal. Bullets 7 & 8 didn't make a loud bang, more of a poof. A competition shooter that happened to be at the range heard it & said "check the barrel". I ran to my brother and I stopped him before #9. Sure enough the barrel is completely blocked. This was the 4th time this gun has been to the range and the 1st time I've used this ammunition. We were at the range to dial in the new red dot when this happened. The gentleman explained to me that this is the result of the bullet not being crimped properly. He went on to point out that a failure rate of 2/8 suggests very poor quality control. I believe what he told me. My NEW gun is effectively useless because of poor quality control & bad crimps. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT. Can I return this junk?

I bought one box of this just to try out.. I was shooting it through my LCP, granted I haven't shot much, just one mag, 7 rounds, had one that the primer dented and didnt go off, reloaded it and it fired.. but i still have 40+ rounds to try

I have and prefer the HST and Speer Gold Dots as my edc loads. The HST has the most expansion you can find in the gel tests if you pay attention to those. A bit pricey, but.....worth the extra for performance

Got a new gun. Used this ammo to break it in. Great stuff!

I can confirm the previous review. My Taurus will not feed them. I never had a problem with CCI. Yes, the square tip of the hollow point jams. But they also don't feed through the magazines consistently. And some get stuck in the barrel itself - as if they are not dimensionally consistent and the ones that jam are a little too wide. I have about 5,000 rounds that are useless. Really disappointed with the Winchester brand.

Bought 250 rounds and shot 200 of them. Obviously absolutely no problems whatsoever as expected. These are pricey but how often are you firing massive rounds of self-defense ammo?

This is my second purchase of this ammo. The first purchase was 60 rounds. I had a great time zeroing and shoot the rifle suppressed. This ammo out performed my expectations. This purchase was 200 rounds for $342.00 including shipping. So $1.60 delivered to the front door was worth it to me. Happy shooting.

I have 380 bodyguard and bought this ammo. Thank god I only bought 2 boxes. Every round had a jam. Some bullets got stuck in barrel and had to remove with a screwdriver.

Works well enough, only had a few malfunctions in 1000 rounds shot. My big gripe is that the jackets separate from the lead core as the bullet leaves your muzzle. This does seem to be widespread on the forums that I have read. Blazer has even responded via email and acknowledged that this does happen, something related to cost savings in the manufacture process to ensure cheaper prices for the end consumer. They say there is no risk of damage to your firearm, and I have no reason not to believe that. but there is a risk if you are using Blazer ammo in live-fire training exercises, where other students might be within close proximity. some instructors have even banned the use of Blazer ammo in their training classes. So basically it is a great cheap range ammo, if you don't mind the occasional speckling of copper bits on your targets. just don't use it for live fire training exercises where you are within close proximity to other people.

I have been practicing with this ammunition with good results since July 2023. I have qualified on the ICE Course with the JHP version with satisfactory results.

The ammo is well priced and I have had no jams in a bodyguard 2.0 which is a small pistol. The gun is relatively clean after use, it uses the bodyguard 2.0's 2 section ramp flawlessly. The ammunition is accurate and is good for a self defense gun. I will buy again.

This ammo has the small primer pockets with no mention of it. I purchased 1000 rounds. When I noticed it had the small primers and contacted Ammo.com I was told it could not be exchanged for 45 ACP with the large pockets after 30 days, it was 31 days after the purchase. I reload everything so to me this is worthless. All they had to do is write one sentence, small primer pockets and I would have gone to the next 45 ammo. Now I will go to a different supplier.

I wasn’t able to shoot this ammo for about a month after ordering it and I was slightly concerned that it would malfunction but the ammo did great. Had a blast shooting and went through about 200 rounds yesterday, looking forwards to the rest of the ammo being shot.

Performed as expected. Top tier.
