The ammo works great in my suppressed Taurus 22. It’s my new armadillo round on the farm.

Purchased 50 rounds, but have only shot 18 so far. I've had no problems at all. Shoots nice and clean, and no duds. I love the federal ammo so far. My only knock was on the value....which I dropped down 1 notch. The price for the 50 round box is awesome, but the shipping and handling hurt the value...still when you can't find the ammo you are looking for locally, the shipping and handling isn't much of an issue. This ammo has proven to be the most accurate I've found out of a Remy 700 HB with a 1:12 twist. Had almost given up on accuracy with this rifle, but this load yielded 0.7 MOA (100 yds, calm day, off support).

Shoots good for bulk ammo, a little waxy, so a few extra FTFs. You will have to keep up with cleaning your firearm each time or wipe down ammo before loading magazines

Great for short ranges (10 yards or less) and reasonable kick for JHP.

Works well enough, only had a few malfunctions in 1000 rounds shot. My big gripe is that the jackets separate from the lead core as the bullet leaves your muzzle. This does seem to be widespread on the forums that I have read. Blazer has even responded via email and acknowledged that this does happen, something related to cost savings in the manufacture process to ensure cheaper prices for the end consumer. They say there is no risk of damage to your firearm, and I have no reason not to believe that. but there is a risk if you are using Blazer ammo in live-fire training exercises, where other students might be within close proximity. some instructors have even banned the use of Blazer ammo in their training classes. So basically it is a great cheap range ammo, if you don't mind the occasional speckling of copper bits on your targets. just don't use it for live fire training exercises where you are within close proximity to other people.

Reading only other review here. Wondering about how he said 1 out of every 5 failed to eject etc.. Could this simply be from limp wristing? I thought the two firearms mentioned were quality pieces. Why would my Glock not have this issue. Will sure more when i get home to double check but first impressions,,,, this ammo is great for that cost with no feeding, firing or ejecting issues. Hold your firearm tighter.

I recently purchased a Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 in order to get the functionality of the AR platform all while using ammo that I can not just afford but really enjoy shooting with. The M&P 15-22 is basically an AR15 just scaled down to a .22LR cartridge, all of the classic AR functionality still exists and works, no "fake" switches or levers here, it operates very much the same as your average AR just with .22LR so you can not only shoot all day but enjoy it too at a fraction of the price you would if you were shooting 5.56 I absolutely love the rifle and Ammo.com is the best place to get high quality bulk ammo at the best available prices. I plan on continuing to use them to stock up so I can spend more time at the range and less time worrying about affording ammo.

Nothing in life is perfect including 22 caliber rim fire bullets, but they come close.

Only shot a dozen rounds at the range. Personal defense and carry ammo currently. Cycled great, no issues cycled cleanly, using it in my FN509, 12, 15, 24 rd mags. Again accurate, cycles clean, and no issues. Can't speak on stopping power, and hope to never have to.

I have shot the entire box of these with zero malfunctions. All my 22 pistols - even the finicky Firefly & Bersa Thunder eat it up. Great stuff!

I almost ordered these by mistake. I have a stash of the POINTED Soft point PSP that I run with excellent results out of my Maadi. The AK was designed to run spire pointed rounds which is correctly the PSP version of the PPU ammo. Round nose is a safety feature geared toward lever guns tubular magazines think 30-30 Winch or old tech 30-40 Krag. All of what I shot fed fired and ejected without complaint. Accuracy is acceptable.

Quality product

This is the ammo I've decided to use in my handgun. Given the velocity, the recoil is smooth, consistent and manageable. I'm on target with Fiocchi.

This round is not very popular but it is for a gun my dad left me. I smile every time I shoot it. The service and product is excellent.

Cycles good just not as accurate as i would like

The ammo is not very good quality, 1-3 out of 10 rounds miss fires or jams. It may be cheap but there's a reason why.... It's kind of trash.

Was looking for Silver State but they went out of business go I bought this ammo and boy am I glad I bought Hornady. I bought 2250 rounds of it for some reason, and I still have about 1800 left and in these times, I am glad I done so this a great all-around ammo hunting home defense and just doing some target practice. I was glad to read law enforcement is thinking about using this round. Bad guys look out is all I have to say!

I've been using this brand for some time and must say it is excellent. It may be a slight bit dirtier than the CCI and Winchester ammo I used in the past. I have never had a misfire or jam with this ammo and always smooth ejections from my guns. The accuracy is outstanding from bullet to bullet. I highly recommend this ammo to the hunter or non completion target shooter. You will NOT be disappointed with this ammos all around performance.

Good ammo, performs well in my Picky Sig322, but sometimes jams.

It’s exactly what I expected, felt the power and recoil was quite manageable. First time I shot my S&W Model 66 and Wow!! Ammo performance was great!

Use this for deer hunting, very accurate, taken 2 deer , 1 standing at 140 yards and 1 running at 80 yards away, both dropped on the spot, the bullet causes alot of damage for its size, only down fall the soft lead tip sometime get messed up when loading from a mag

Was looking for a clean shooting lead and heavy metal free rounds. Found Federal Syntech but these can tumble. Then found Blazer Clean Fire and Lawman Clean Fire but these, and Syntech are more pricey (well what I was seeing) So these Winclean “BEB - brass enclosure base” which also have lead free primers are the best choice for indoor training.

The copper cladding minimizes bore fouling. Zero failures to feed, fore or eject in a .22 semi-automatic pistol

Makes my lever gun difficult to cycle the lever correctly.

So what I noticed about these rounds as they seem to perform okay in my semi-automatics and I would say 99% of them ejected well out of my lever action but I noticed inconsistency in the load of different boxes of ammo actually quite a bit I didn't like it a lot of them were light-loaded and to me that's screwing me on my hard-earned money.

High price

After two purchases of this ammo, can only recommend if you enjoy cleaning your guns after every shooting session. Good price, but very dirty, caused failure to feeds in semi auto rifle and pistol, gummed up revolver cylinder enough to where I could barely push rounds in. Seems to be covered in a rubbery, gummy substance. If you can't afford anything else (like I couldn't), better than nothing. You'll spend the savings on solvent cleaning your guns.

I always look for Sellier & Bellot ammo since it simply works!

Bought a fairly new Mossberg 702 Plinkster Bought 500 rounds of various ammo to test. Had no issues with this box, it was cheap and as accurate as any other in this cheap gun. Had some jamming issues with another brand, not with this stuff.

Put 100 rounds thru my p95 ruger.No jamming issues,smooth recoil,and good penetration.

These rounds are like a band. They jam! All jokes aside, I'm on my first box, and I've had numerous jams. 7 jams in 50 rounds. That's also with 2 different magazines to feed these rounds.

I tried running this through my Stribog and had a failure to feed every 2-3 rounds ,through 3 different mags ! Switched over to Winchester white box 180gr. FMJ and every round loaded and shot great ! It was obvious that the S&B didn't have the power to blow the bolt back but halfway ! S&B 10mm loads might work better in a semi- auto pistol with a much lighter bolt !

Do not recommend these they do not perform the way they should I have not had any success the few times I’ve used these even after almost 2 years there still living with it in them

Not sure what the negative reviews are about, this ammo works great. I have dropped aoudad in their tracks at 385 and those guys are notoriously tough. Fantastic accuracy and reliability.

This ammo is great and actually cycles well out of my SR .22 Winchester Wildcat. It doesn't cycle out of the Ruger 10/22 but that's OK because I got it for the Wildcat for shooting pests in my backyard. I have the Sparrow Surpresor on it and it's more quite than a Benjamin pellet gun. Very accurate at 40 yards and it puts birds to sleep instantly. Great product!

Feet per second=2050. I dont know of any 30gr varmint ammo that's faster, and if youre tracking a moving varmint at 100yds +, this would be a big help. At nearly 300# ft lbs, I would take some pot shots at pigs too, and expect some results.

My lady and I love PSA RIFLES! We had a hard time finding accureet ammo that ran through psa 16" .300 blk out upper but this ammo is flawless and got my 13 yr old son his first youth hunt deer that didn't go more than 40 yards!! Amazing ammo with our set up !!!

Easier to shoot than my .45 colt. More precise SW 500 ammo. I can't tell the difference between 300 grain and 500 grain. Both accurate and not much change in recoil. Want recoil?!! Don't shoot a bear load unless your wrists are tough.

The ballistics are accurately defined. It takes down large game availabil in the USA & Canida. I DO NOT TRAVEL OUT OF NORTH AMERICA.

Super fast for a 45 round. Better groupings at rapid fire pace. Center mass and done.

The 185 grain cycled thru both my Glocks and Para-Ordnance 1911 LDA without any problems. The .40SW feed thru my Beretta Strorm Carbines and both were very accuate and fairly clean burining.

I hand load 55g blitzing for my AR and these performed exactly like my hand loads no adjustment in windage or elevation was needed. Although I didn't have time to run them through the chronograph with the performance at 100 yards I'd say the advertised velocity is spot on with a 24 inch barrel.

Great ammo great price

I bought 500 rounds a year or so ago and have really enjoyed it. I use it in my Ruger LCP and have had no problems at all. It's smooth shooting. easy to load and what more can I say, some of the best ammo I've used. The price was excellent. I always check the site for great deals and have found them.

Found what I was looking for

When first got my Taurus Raging Judge I was worried about everything I had heard about recoil. Shot 20 rounds today and it was not bad at all. But what impressed me the most was it's accuracy. Getting more ammo today.

At 200 meters can hit a quarter from either a TCenter or Savage rifle. Kills buck deer with just one hit in the chest, same killing power as any 7mm or .30 caliber but with much less recoil. The 6.5 mm CM is the new standard to displace the .308 or .3006 ; why suffer more recoild with no more killing power?

I bought this stuff just to try it, really. I've only fired about 20 of the 50 rounds by now. I will say that I experienced no issues with it (jams, etc.), and it's easy to put on-target from up to 25 yards. It did leave a little extra soot in my Glock 19, and it produces a fairly strong "burnt powder" smell when fired. Not a big issue at all, but it does seem to fire "dirtier" than most ammo I'm used to. I don't have much experience with Frangible ammo, but it seemed to work exactly as advertised.

The ammo worked well and reliably in my Desert Eagle, with no jams or malfunctions. I would recommend it anytime.

These are good shells, and high quality from a name you know. Pretty good valve as well, so you can probably afford to shoot all day!

I do a LOT of shooting with rim fire .22 ammo and hunt small game for the pot. This ammo is accurate, and shot to shot quality is stellar. Best I've ever used and ordering more. A bit pricey but you pay for quality.

I purchased a Savage A17 several years ago. 1st and only weapon of this calibre. Before buying what to me was a novelty rifle I did a lot of reading about the ammo. Savage, in their literature, says to use this ammo to feed this rifle. It has been engineered and tested to run in this gun. So I have exclusively. Never had a problem with weapon or ammo, other than the plastic "drum" magazine. If a manufacturer were to develop a metal mag it would sell out I imagine. I have no idea of other .17s, don't have any and never fired any. This ammo is so fast and flat that at 200y where you'd be expecting some drop it doesn't happen. So either zero at that distance or aim a little high. The reticles in your scope don't compensate for this round. As to pricing, CCI knows they have the market for this rifle, albeit there was a lot of testing to get a round that works consistently, I still think they're charging a bit more than they should/round.

Ammo acted and performed as I knew it would since I have used it before

A pleasant surprise for quality in value provided and accuracy. Performed well in 3 different firearms ( 2 pistols, 1 carbine style rifle) . Had previous excellent experience with various loads of .22 caliber offerings from this manufacturer.

I bought these hoping they would perform better than the CCI standard velocity, they didn't. Well, at least not in my Tikka T1x.

Used .308 Win in 180gr. Everything was cool, until I chronographed some. Came in at 2650fps, which to me is firstly too fast on African game, and closer to max pressure than I am comfortable with. Other than that, good ammo and cases (been reloading my used factory ammo cases, no issues).

This ammunition runs well in short barrel suppressed weapon systems. High carbon buildup, but it is to be expected. I recommend buying this one in bulk.

I have about 400 rounds through my Browning SA 22 and Hight Standard outlet Nine. The are accurate and run well through the Browning but are difficult to load and extract from my revolver. The cases are very tight in the cylinder. I thought the cylinder might be dirty at first but after cleaning there was no improvement. Remington and Federal loaded and extracted with no problem

Not at the Federal level. God knows what kind of restrictions exist in some of the more helsilh SSR's, but here in Tennessee, your ammo purchases are restricted only by your bank acount and the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of your ride.

My Sauer 100 .243 did not like this round, would not feed it smoothly had to jam it in. Once I fired two rounds hit 4 1/2 " high at 100 and had a .99 spread

Purchased 500 rounds of this ammo, not having good luck with jamming problem. Don’t know yet if it’s the gun or ammo. Shooting in a new 22 mag S&W ?

This Ammo shoots well, However when trying to reload the brass I broke 2 decapping pins in my sizing die. I cut the head off two cases and found the flash hole is off center. So even though the ammo shoots well it cannot be reloaded.

Gun jammed…. Bullet got stuck in the barrel, still shot 2 rounds than got jammed. Realized the bullet was stuck halfway through. Could’ve exploded in my face! Unfortunately no more Ammo Inc for me. Same thing happened to another gentleman on the range.

Bought 500 rds. first mag, would not feed, S&W M&P, tried it in a Taurus 709 same thing, tried some in a hi-point 9mm, made it through the first mag then the second, hmm what;s up with this? third mag 2nd round no feed, 4th same. Sorry to say I wasted hard earned money on target and practice ammo I can't use. Don't buy.

The ammo is very good; the faster velocity makes the 40 gr. bullet a more accurate round over the 1235 fps. ammo. It is also a lot louder than your average round fired. All and all, this ammo works very well in my Browning Buck Mark Carbine.

I've already had several (over 70) misfires (4 boxes in) from 5 types of guns = did not expect that.

The ammo didn’t cycle at all, I threw in some Winchester of the same price Range and it cycled fine

Bought a brick of this ammo when I purchased a 22 long rifle conversion for my AR. It would not cycle! Also tried it in a AR style 22 rifle. Would not cycle!

I've only shot 20 rounds and had 8 complete failures. I made sure they were fired by multiple pistols and even 2, 3 or 4 marks on the rims and nothing. Luckily I only bought 3 50rd boxes to try out. I won't be buying these ever again.

Shoots amazing accurate and plenty of knock down power for plucking down rodents such as ground hogs . You can reach out and touch something with accuracy and confidence .

Great Ammo, reasonably priced, team was extremely helpful, and I received my order in a reasonable timeframe.

Had a box of this laying around for month, pulled it out at the range and used it between some Winchester 9mm target and some bulk ammo brand. Fired flawlessly through my Glock. At 21ft went from ten inch groupings down to 2 in groupings using this stuff then back to ten inch groupings after I used it. Clear as day this stuff is accurate with virtually NO recoil. Would not want this in a tactical situation but if you want to see how accurate you really try this stuff.

I bought the case and price is great. Win 36g cphp is real nice round and out of the first 1k fired, one ftf. both semi-auto pistol (P322) and 10/22 carbine "like" this bulk pack round. Will purchase more when time comes. R

Bought 250 rounds and shot 200 of them. Obviously absolutely no problems whatsoever as expected. These are pricey but how often are you firing massive rounds of self-defense ammo?

I have shot about 250 rounds of this ammo and had only one jam. This occurred when a friend of mine was shooting the weapon, so I don’t have a clear idea as to what caused it.

Subtle and accurate aim and shot , great point of contact at the target. Very effective at the range.

No surprise here but the price per round shows as 63.8 cents. With shipping and sales tax, that easily went to about 85 cents. I did receive it in a timely fashion and it was well-padded in a cardboard box but would have preferred different packing from the factory. My error. A range pack means loose rounds inside a box. The ammo itself is so-so for its intended purpose. I also purchased Belom 7.62x39 (no longer available here) and cannot address ammo quality yet, but the factory packaging (20 rounds per PLASTIC case) was phenomenal.

I wasn’t able to shoot this ammo for about a month after ordering it and I was slightly concerned that it would malfunction but the ammo did great. Had a blast shooting and went through about 200 rounds yesterday, looking forwards to the rest of the ammo being shot.

I ran these through my brand new rifle. And it did not cycle. I thought maybe it just needed a break in period but I ran a different ammo and it cycled. Just fine, my buddy put this ammo. Through his rifle and same thing, it would not cycle consistently. Not accurate at all. Just to all around garbage
