Louis Sellier and Jean Maria Bellot partnered to revolutionize ammunition production in the early 19th century. Easily more accurate than I am. Based on the ballistics calculated online it’s flat out to 50 yards. I know it’s flat to 25 yards by test.

Speaking specifically of 45 ball ammo. Years ago I once had a AD inside my house. I was amazed at the performance. It went thru 3 walls, changed direction 3x due to hitting wall studs before finally stopping against the inside brick cavity at the exterior of the house. I recovered the bullet and it had only minor deformation. Since then I keep and extra mag of Ball just in case.

I purchased 5 boxes of S&B .45 ACP 230 grain. Out of the 5 boxes at least one box of 50 were misfires. Primers were hit, did not fire! Contacted S&B about the issue, nothing was done about it. Rounds were fired through my Smith and Wesson 1911 PC which is always on point with other brands of ammo.
