Some time ago I picked up 1000 rounds of MBI ammo, probably through Lucky Gunner. I finally got around to using it, and my M9A3 had a ton of failure to feed issues. I picked up a 9mm Sherridan case guage, and out of the 1000 rnds, about 100 of them are bad. They literally get stuck in the gauge to the point you can't easily get them out... which is why the don't work. Pretty horrible QC and very unimpressive.

The ammo works great in my suppressed Taurus 22. It’s my new armadillo round on the farm.

Purchased 50 rounds, but have only shot 18 so far. I've had no problems at all. Shoots nice and clean, and no duds. I love the federal ammo so far. My only knock was on the value....which I dropped down 1 notch. The price for the 50 round box is awesome, but the shipping and handling hurt the value...still when you can't find the ammo you are looking for locally, the shipping and handling isn't much of an issue. This ammo has proven to be the most accurate I've found out of a Remy 700 HB with a 1:12 twist. Had almost given up on accuracy with this rifle, but this load yielded 0.7 MOA (100 yds, calm day, off support).

Shoots good for bulk ammo, a little waxy, so a few extra FTFs. You will have to keep up with cleaning your firearm each time or wipe down ammo before loading magazines

CCI Standard Velocity: This ammunition handles it all. If your firearm experiences issues feeding or grouping with this load, the issue is almost certainly the gun itself, not the ammunition. It is highly recommended to buy it by the case. Ammo.com was fast and effiecient.

I run these through a Ruger 10/22 factory bull barrel. Benched shooting at 100 yards, they print Quarter sized groups.

Works well enough, only had a few malfunctions in 1000 rounds shot. My big gripe is that the jackets separate from the lead core as the bullet leaves your muzzle. This does seem to be widespread on the forums that I have read. Blazer has even responded via email and acknowledged that this does happen, something related to cost savings in the manufacture process to ensure cheaper prices for the end consumer. They say there is no risk of damage to your firearm, and I have no reason not to believe that. but there is a risk if you are using Blazer ammo in live-fire training exercises, where other students might be within close proximity. some instructors have even banned the use of Blazer ammo in their training classes. So basically it is a great cheap range ammo, if you don't mind the occasional speckling of copper bits on your targets. just don't use it for live fire training exercises where you are within close proximity to other people.

Reading only other review here. Wondering about how he said 1 out of every 5 failed to eject etc.. Could this simply be from limp wristing? I thought the two firearms mentioned were quality pieces. Why would my Glock not have this issue. Will sure more when i get home to double check but first impressions,,,, this ammo is great for that cost with no feeding, firing or ejecting issues. Hold your firearm tighter.

I recently purchased a Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 in order to get the functionality of the AR platform all while using ammo that I can not just afford but really enjoy shooting with. The M&P 15-22 is basically an AR15 just scaled down to a .22LR cartridge, all of the classic AR functionality still exists and works, no "fake" switches or levers here, it operates very much the same as your average AR just with .22LR so you can not only shoot all day but enjoy it too at a fraction of the price you would if you were shooting 5.56 I absolutely love the rifle and Ammo.com is the best place to get high quality bulk ammo at the best available prices. I plan on continuing to use them to stock up so I can spend more time at the range and less time worrying about affording ammo.

Nothing in life is perfect including 22 caliber rim fire bullets, but they come close.

Only shot a dozen rounds at the range. Personal defense and carry ammo currently. Cycled great, no issues cycled cleanly, using it in my FN509, 12, 15, 24 rd mags. Again accurate, cycles clean, and no issues. Can't speak on stopping power, and hope to never have to.

I only want or will purchase this CCI product for my needs. Have tried other brands and they fail, might as well throw rocks. Live in a semi populated area and need to use 22 shorts to thin the squirrel population in my yard. This product gets the job done.

Have run over 14,000 rounds(yes...that's fourteen-thousand- plus) through my Sig P229 and I believe maybe two or three were misfires. I am very satisfied with the product.

The box of this ammo I used was received as a gift from my brother for my 60th birthday. Normally, I wouldn't have purchased it myself, but being it was a gift, I used it for target practice and the occasional magazine of personal defense. The ammo functioned pretty much flawlessly in my personal Ruger LCP, but gave some feeding problems in a friends Ruger LCP due to it being a "flat point", so there is reason to be aware of possible feeding problems in some firearms. In my personal opinion, there are better options for practice, and definitely better options for concealed carry defensive ammo.

Cycles good just not as accurate as i would like

The ammo is not very good quality, 1-3 out of 10 rounds miss fires or jams. It may be cheap but there's a reason why.... It's kind of trash.

This ammunition performed flawlessly I couldn't be more happy.

I put 40 rounds through my 1872 Uberti open top and every round went boom but not all hit the hanging metal plate I was shooting at. Must be something wrong with the ammo…. It couldn’t have been me! Bottom line is that it performed great and I’ll be purchasing more just as soon as I pay off my new glasses.

I've been using this brand for some time and must say it is excellent. It may be a slight bit dirtier than the CCI and Winchester ammo I used in the past. I have never had a misfire or jam with this ammo and always smooth ejections from my guns. The accuracy is outstanding from bullet to bullet. I highly recommend this ammo to the hunter or non completion target shooter. You will NOT be disappointed with this ammos all around performance.

I shot 60 rounds of this flat nose stuff along with a fair amount of PMC, Magtech, and Hornady to break in my new 2.0. Every one of these bullets fed, shot, and extracted smoothly. A flat nose 380 gives a smash cavity in your target instead of a round nose just slipping past tissue and deflecting off bone. Best choice for self d.

Good ammo, performs well in my Picky Sig322, but sometimes jams.

Use this for deer hunting, very accurate, taken 2 deer , 1 standing at 140 yards and 1 running at 80 yards away, both dropped on the spot, the bullet causes alot of damage for its size, only down fall the soft lead tip sometime get messed up when loading from a mag

Was looking for a clean shooting lead and heavy metal free rounds. Found Federal Syntech but these can tumble. Then found Blazer Clean Fire and Lawman Clean Fire but these, and Syntech are more pricey (well what I was seeing) So these Winclean “BEB - brass enclosure base” which also have lead free primers are the best choice for indoor training.

Fmj nice and clean. Fired 75 rounds all smooth and gun stayed cool.

Makes my lever gun difficult to cycle the lever correctly.

So what I noticed about these rounds as they seem to perform okay in my semi-automatics and I would say 99% of them ejected well out of my lever action but I noticed inconsistency in the load of different boxes of ammo actually quite a bit I didn't like it a lot of them were light-loaded and to me that's screwing me on my hard-earned money.

After two purchases of this ammo, can only recommend if you enjoy cleaning your guns after every shooting session. Good price, but very dirty, caused failure to feeds in semi auto rifle and pistol, gummed up revolver cylinder enough to where I could barely push rounds in. Seems to be covered in a rubbery, gummy substance. If you can't afford anything else (like I couldn't), better than nothing. You'll spend the savings on solvent cleaning your guns.

Bought a fairly new Mossberg 702 Plinkster Bought 500 rounds of various ammo to test. Had no issues with this box, it was cheap and as accurate as any other in this cheap gun. Had some jamming issues with another brand, not with this stuff.

These rounds are like a band. They jam! All jokes aside, I'm on my first box, and I've had numerous jams. 7 jams in 50 rounds. That's also with 2 different magazines to feed these rounds.

Modern Super-X 44-40 hunting loads only get 1,190fps advertised, limiting this cartridge to only 100 yards. Mine chronographed 1,025fps. Original black powder factory loads achieved 1,325fps and were killers out to 300 yards, later reduced to 1,245, then back up to 1,325fps with smokeless loads. By the1960's they were reduced to 1,310fps when rifle powder was replaced by ball powders. By 1978 Winchester started using flake pistol powders, further reducing performance down to the now 1,190fps advertised velocity. Not to mention from 1903 to 1941, Winchester manufactured 1,565fps High Velocity loads used for the Model 92' Winchesters and other like rifles like the Marlin 1894. Winchester further nurtured the 44-40 with the mouse fart "Cowboy" reduced loads of only 900fps from a rifle. Thus I give the modern factory loads a 2 for performance, a 2 for value since folks are paying an arm and a leg for neutered ammunition. Cost twice as much as other brands. No difference in accuracy at 25 yards from a benchrest than the cheap stuff thru my new Mossberg 702 Plinkster . This did not jam, but neither did 8 other brands/models. all much cheaper.

Do not recommend these they do not perform the way they should I have not had any success the few times I’ve used these even after almost 2 years there still living with it in them

Not sure what the negative reviews are about, this ammo works great. I have dropped aoudad in their tracks at 385 and those guys are notoriously tough. Fantastic accuracy and reliability.

What can I say? It's Federal. Never fails, clean burning, consistent shot after shot. My first choice for factory new ammo.

This ammo is great and actually cycles well out of my SR .22 Winchester Wildcat. It doesn't cycle out of the Ruger 10/22 but that's OK because I got it for the Wildcat for shooting pests in my backyard. I have the Sparrow Surpresor on it and it's more quite than a Benjamin pellet gun. Very accurate at 40 yards and it puts birds to sleep instantly. Great product!

Feet per second=2050. I dont know of any 30gr varmint ammo that's faster, and if youre tracking a moving varmint at 100yds +, this would be a big help. At nearly 300# ft lbs, I would take some pot shots at pigs too, and expect some results.

Easier to shoot than my .45 colt. More precise SW 500 ammo. I can't tell the difference between 300 grain and 500 grain. Both accurate and not much change in recoil. Want recoil?!! Don't shoot a bear load unless your wrists are tough.

The 185 grain cycled thru both my Glocks and Para-Ordnance 1911 LDA without any problems. The .40SW feed thru my Beretta Strorm Carbines and both were very accuate and fairly clean burining.

This ammo never let's any shooter down !

I hand load 55g blitzing for my AR and these performed exactly like my hand loads no adjustment in windage or elevation was needed. Although I didn't have time to run them through the chronograph with the performance at 100 yards I'd say the advertised velocity is spot on with a 24 inch barrel.

Shot ammo in a Glock 27 Gen 4 with very little problem. Ammo jammed a couple of times, but I don't think the ammo was the problem. I will buy more Prvi Partizan ( PPU) ammo when possible in .40 cal, 9mm, and 357 sig. Great stuff. Shoots cleaner than most other I have found.

I bought 500 rounds a year or so ago and have really enjoyed it. I use it in my Ruger LCP and have had no problems at all. It's smooth shooting. easy to load and what more can I say, some of the best ammo I've used. The price was excellent. I always check the site for great deals and have found them.

Found what I was looking for

At 200 meters can hit a quarter from either a TCenter or Savage rifle. Kills buck deer with just one hit in the chest, same killing power as any 7mm or .30 caliber but with much less recoil. The 6.5 mm CM is the new standard to displace the .308 or .3006 ; why suffer more recoild with no more killing power?

I do a LOT of shooting with rim fire .22 ammo and hunt small game for the pot. This ammo is accurate, and shot to shot quality is stellar. Best I've ever used and ordering more. A bit pricey but you pay for quality.

Punched right through 1/4 inch steel plate like hot butter. Same plate easily stops steel core .223 rounds.

Wonderful damage to targets

It is perfect for target and practice. If you were to use it as a tool for defense or protection, a more durable FMJ would be a better choice. I am more interested in playing than owning a tool.

I purchased a Savage A17 several years ago. 1st and only weapon of this calibre. Before buying what to me was a novelty rifle I did a lot of reading about the ammo. Savage, in their literature, says to use this ammo to feed this rifle. It has been engineered and tested to run in this gun. So I have exclusively. Never had a problem with weapon or ammo, other than the plastic "drum" magazine. If a manufacturer were to develop a metal mag it would sell out I imagine. I have no idea of other .17s, don't have any and never fired any. This ammo is so fast and flat that at 200y where you'd be expecting some drop it doesn't happen. So either zero at that distance or aim a little high. The reticles in your scope don't compensate for this round. As to pricing, CCI knows they have the market for this rifle, albeit there was a lot of testing to get a round that works consistently, I still think they're charging a bit more than they should/round.

Used .308 Win in 180gr. Everything was cool, until I chronographed some. Came in at 2650fps, which to me is firstly too fast on African game, and closer to max pressure than I am comfortable with. Other than that, good ammo and cases (been reloading my used factory ammo cases, no issues).

I have about 400 rounds through my Browning SA 22 and Hight Standard outlet Nine. The are accurate and run well through the Browning but are difficult to load and extract from my revolver. The cases are very tight in the cylinder. I thought the cylinder might be dirty at first but after cleaning there was no improvement. Remington and Federal loaded and extracted with no problem

Not at the Federal level. God knows what kind of restrictions exist in some of the more helsilh SSR's, but here in Tennessee, your ammo purchases are restricted only by your bank acount and the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of your ride.
