TML is what I was looking for to use on indoor ranges.

Purchased 50 rounds, but have only shot 18 so far. I've had no problems at all. Shoots nice and clean, and no duds. I love the federal ammo so far. My only knock was on the value....which I dropped down 1 notch. The price for the 50 round box is awesome, but the shipping and handling hurt the value...still when you can't find the ammo you are looking for locally, the shipping and handling isn't much of an issue. I have used this in my Glock 21 for duty and it has always performed outstanding, great ammo!

Great for short ranges (10 yards or less) and reasonable kick for JHP.

Reading only other review here. Wondering about how he said 1 out of every 5 failed to eject etc.. Could this simply be from limp wristing? I thought the two firearms mentioned were quality pieces. Why would my Glock not have this issue. Will sure more when i get home to double check but first impressions,,,, this ammo is great for that cost with no feeding, firing or ejecting issues. Hold your firearm tighter.

I almost ordered these by mistake. I have a stash of the POINTED Soft point PSP that I run with excellent results out of my Maadi. The AK was designed to run spire pointed rounds which is correctly the PSP version of the PPU ammo. Round nose is a safety feature geared toward lever guns tubular magazines think 30-30 Winch or old tech 30-40 Krag. All of what I shot fed fired and ejected without complaint. Accuracy is acceptable.

Lower price, less fouling. great for target shooting.

Fed through my Sig P365 as well as my PCC beautifully, I feel very confident it will perform in a life or death situation

Sergio, you're spot on. It's an old style jhp with rumored poor expansion in short barrels (4-stars). I've got a CZ75 and SP-01, so I don't expect to see any problems. Federal Premium is always reliable; this is no different. (5-stars) Nothing special, but JHP of good quality. It wasn't the worst deal around — I was just resigned to buying DoubleTap for a lot more. I'd rather pay for this than that, or junk, or nothing at all. (3-stars just based on what 9mm SHOULD cost — and I'm sure not saying anything bad about Ammo.com — they're great.)

This is the ammo I've decided to use in my handgun. Given the velocity, the recoil is smooth, consistent and manageable. I'm on target with Fiocchi.

Cycles good just not as accurate as i would like

Speaking specifically of 45 ball ammo. Years ago I once had a AD inside my house. I was amazed at the performance. It went thru 3 walls, changed direction 3x due to hitting wall studs before finally stopping against the inside brick cavity at the exterior of the house. I recovered the bullet and it had only minor deformation. Since then I keep and extra mag of Ball just in case.

Was looking for Silver State but they went out of business go I bought this ammo and boy am I glad I bought Hornady. I bought 2250 rounds of it for some reason, and I still have about 1800 left and in these times, I am glad I done so this a great all-around ammo hunting home defense and just doing some target practice. I was glad to read law enforcement is thinking about using this round. Bad guys look out is all I have to say!

Frequent misfeeds in my FEG, Silver Bear has no such issues so better to just pay the extra for higher quality.

Put 100 rounds thru my p95 ruger.No jamming issues,smooth recoil,and good penetration.

Speer makes great ammo. Unfortunately, with supply so low, prices are high. But, you better have good ammo on hand. This is good!!!!

Not sure what the negative reviews are about, this ammo works great. I have dropped aoudad in their tracks at 385 and those guys are notoriously tough. Fantastic accuracy and reliability.

The 185 grain cycled thru both my Glocks and Para-Ordnance 1911 LDA without any problems. The .40SW feed thru my Beretta Strorm Carbines and both were very accuate and fairly clean burining.

I was testing a new Canik TTI combat and had numerous stove pipes, failure to battery and miss fires. I believe it was the firearm and not the ammo.

this ammo shoots so smooth out my 3-inch model 36 Smith and Wesson that it allows my wife to group the shots very tight with a very slight muzzle flip at 40 feet. If I am not home, my wife can pick up the revolver and point and shoot without worrying about safety's, slides, magazines, clip in or out etc. - as she would have a lot of other things to think about in a pressure situation including threat assessment and visual target identification

Finally found a self defense round that feeds in my Taurus g3c.

If you will look at your discription,you left out the fact that this ammo is +P, I have a 38 special that can't use this ammo, but I have another that can. Mike L

All of the JHP's performed well. Had several jams with the FMJ ammo, but, overall, performed well. Will purchase again when needed.

This ammo is absolutely excellent, it ran flawlessly through my Glock 20 with no malfunctions. All of the rounds looked phenomenal no dinged casings, bad primers, or tarnishing on the casing or led bullet. This ammo is what I personally have loaded for my home defense round. Would I recommend this ammo to others? Yes, in fact I believe in it so much I trust my life to it.

Every ammo I have purchased and used that has the Federal name on it has been the creme de la creme in my book. The 147 grain JHP is no exception. Whether it's for my revolvers, pistols or long guns I have complete confidence when Federal is with me.

Zero'd my new rifle in 2 groupings at 100yd. this round has not failed me in any regard yet, always hits right where I want it to and it hits hard. longest shot I've hit with this one is 870yd on a 7in x 5in target. I don't plan to use any other ammo for my rifle and I'd say if you're having trouble with groupings on your rifle that you give this ammo a try!

This is an amazing load out of a 9-inch Sig MCX pistol. Ran 10 rounds at 25 yards in less than a inch diameter, at an average velocity of 2150 fps with energy of 1129 ft-lbs - this load is why 300BLK is THE thing to run in your AR pistol/SBR.

Ammo shoots well, and performs great. Used on a 308 scout rifle and zeroed at 100 yards at a size of a nickel. Will work well for hunting.

When first got my Taurus Raging Judge I was worried about everything I had heard about recoil. Shot 20 rounds today and it was not bad at all. But what impressed me the most was it's accuracy. Getting more ammo today.

These Speer Gold Dot 308, 150 grain shells are great in my Ruger SFAR. The rifle is picky about ammo and worked best with polymer tip ammo. I tried these Gold Dots in 150 grain from 100 to 200 yards. Minimal exposed lead tip and chrome plated cases were accurate and reliable. Ruger SFAR prefers 150 grain for accuracy and these hovered around 1 3/8-1 1/2" at 100 yards. Sig 1x6 Tango, 2nd focal plane. Great ammo in light weight package.

I have had a chance to use a few of the rounds, and am happy with the performance. No jams, and true flight.

I am VERY picky about the ammo I buy. I am looking for foot pounds of energy. Fiocchi delivers! I live in the foothills west of Denver,with the mountain lions and the bears. When I walk my pooch, my Ruger Redhawk 44 mag travels with me. I have run into bears, mountain lions, and I think a wolf one night. This is where the energy of the 44 mag comes in.

Shot very clean was well pleased

I bought this stuff just to try it, really. I've only fired about 20 of the 50 rounds by now. I will say that I experienced no issues with it (jams, etc.), and it's easy to put on-target from up to 25 yards. It did leave a little extra soot in my Glock 19, and it produces a fairly strong "burnt powder" smell when fired. Not a big issue at all, but it does seem to fire "dirtier" than most ammo I'm used to. I don't have much experience with Frangible ammo, but it seemed to work exactly as advertised.

Right price, no issues whatsoever. Shot without issues in my Sig X-5 and my wife's Firestar. Recommend it

The ammo shoots perfectly out of my picky 1911. I had zero malfunctions out of 500 rounds shot. Fiocchi ammo gave me an average of one malfunction / 50 rounds shot. My only gripes are that the bullets look a little dirty, which of course had no issue with performance. And mostly the only thing I didn't like was that the tray the bullets come in is made out of Styrofoam so it leaves little foam bits all over the counter at the range.... All in all I would buy again.

No misfires, reduction of recoil, just as accurate if not better than FMJ rounds.

I have used and carried, due to the recorded performance in ballistic gel and the recorded results of various barrier penetrations. I definitely have no problem using as my EDC ammo on a daily basis

I bought this ammo for my Marlin 1895 after purchasing a different brand of ammo initially for my first range session that I was happy with Accuracy wise for the most part but not so much with the power of the rounds. Well i can tell you that these Prvi rounds performed well across the board, accuracy, quality and big power, which is what I wanted in the rounds I'd be using for this rifle both at the range and in the woods. I try to practice with the same or similar rounds I'd be using when hunting or for self defense. train how you fight is what I was taught. buy these rounds and you wont be disappointed.

A pleasant surprise for quality in value provided and accuracy. Performed well in 3 different firearms ( 2 pistols, 1 carbine style rifle) . Had previous excellent experience with various loads of .22 caliber offerings from this manufacturer.

I haven't fired any of the rounds I recently purchased, but having used Remington ammunition before, I know it's very high quality. I've heard some glowing reviews of the Golden Sabre ammunition, and I can't wait to try it out.

Outstanding value and the best brand on the market.

Used .308 Win in 180gr. Everything was cool, until I chronographed some. Came in at 2650fps, which to me is firstly too fast on African game, and closer to max pressure than I am comfortable with. Other than that, good ammo and cases (been reloading my used factory ammo cases, no issues).

This ammunition runs well in short barrel suppressed weapon systems. High carbon buildup, but it is to be expected. I recommend buying this one in bulk.

Buy 20/50 round boxes instead for 1000 shells and only pay $479.80. This makes no sense.

Not at the Federal level. God knows what kind of restrictions exist in some of the more helsilh SSR's, but here in Tennessee, your ammo purchases are restricted only by your bank acount and the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of your ride.

This Ammo shoots well, However when trying to reload the brass I broke 2 decapping pins in my sizing die. I cut the head off two cases and found the flash hole is off center. So even though the ammo shoots well it cannot be reloaded.

Gun jammed…. Bullet got stuck in the barrel, still shot 2 rounds than got jammed. Realized the bullet was stuck halfway through. Could’ve exploded in my face! Unfortunately no more Ammo Inc for me. Same thing happened to another gentleman on the range.

Bought 500 rds. first mag, would not feed, S&W M&P, tried it in a Taurus 709 same thing, tried some in a hi-point 9mm, made it through the first mag then the second, hmm what;s up with this? third mag 2nd round no feed, 4th same. Sorry to say I wasted hard earned money on target and practice ammo I can't use. Don't buy.

I bought 500 rounds of this, fired less than 10 rounds, and I will never load another round from this manufacturer. My new Taurus Judge Magnum has at least 1 probably 2 bullets lodged in the barrel. I've never experienced bullet slip before and didn't immediately pick up on the problem while my little brother was shooting. The 1st 6 rounds were normal. Bullets 7 & 8 didn't make a loud bang, more of a poof. A competition shooter that happened to be at the range heard it & said "check the barrel". I ran to my brother and I stopped him before #9. Sure enough the barrel is completely blocked. This was the 4th time this gun has been to the range and the 1st time I've used this ammunition. We were at the range to dial in the new red dot when this happened. The gentleman explained to me that this is the result of the bullet not being crimped properly. He went on to point out that a failure rate of 2/8 suggests very poor quality control. I believe what he told me. My NEW gun is effectively useless because of poor quality control & bad crimps. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT. Can I return this junk?

I have and prefer the HST and Speer Gold Dots as my edc loads. The HST has the most expansion you can find in the gel tests if you pay attention to those. A bit pricey, but.....worth the extra for performance

This is the ammo that lives in my FN Reflex XL and it's been great on the range. Wish it was a bit cheaper but such is life.

This review isn’t necessarily about the ammo , all I can say is I like to cycle my ammo at least once a year and I’m getting what I feel to be the best and this ammo is it ! What I am writing today is first I don’t do reviews it’s just not my thing , but I’m making an exception because I’m extremely impressed with ammo.com ! I ordered on a Sunday night , not 10 mins after I ordered I had confirmation numbers and the way they did there emails to me are 2nd to know one ,giving you every bit of info you could possibly want and things were in such a professional manner . Bought 250 rounds and shot 200 of them. Obviously absolutely no problems whatsoever as expected. These are pricey but how often are you firing massive rounds of self-defense ammo?

This is my second purchase of this ammo. The first purchase was 60 rounds. I had a great time zeroing and shoot the rifle suppressed. This ammo out performed my expectations. This purchase was 200 rounds for $342.00 including shipping. So $1.60 delivered to the front door was worth it to me. Happy shooting.

Works well enough, only had a few malfunctions in 1000 rounds shot. My big gripe is that the jackets separate from the lead core as the bullet leaves your muzzle. This does seem to be widespread on the forums that I have read. Blazer has even responded via email and acknowledged that this does happen, something related to cost savings in the manufacture process to ensure cheaper prices for the end consumer. They say there is no risk of damage to your firearm, and I have no reason not to believe that. but there is a risk if you are using Blazer ammo in live-fire training exercises, where other students might be within close proximity. some instructors have even banned the use of Blazer ammo in their training classes. So basically it is a great cheap range ammo, if you don't mind the occasional speckling of copper bits on your targets. just don't use it for live fire training exercises where you are within close proximity to other people.

took my Ruger Precision to the range a week ago and fired 40 rounds at 200 yards using 143 grain precision hunter eld-x ammo obliterated the bulls eye on my targets this ammo is awesome shot groups were tight

No surprise here but the price per round shows as 63.8 cents. With shipping and sales tax, that easily went to about 85 cents. I did receive it in a timely fashion and it was well-padded in a cardboard box but would have preferred different packing from the factory. My error. A range pack means loose rounds inside a box. The ammo itself is so-so for its intended purpose. I also purchased Belom 7.62x39 (no longer available here) and cannot address ammo quality yet, but the factory packaging (20 rounds per PLASTIC case) was phenomenal.

I wasn’t able to shoot this ammo for about a month after ordering it and I was slightly concerned that it would malfunction but the ammo did great. Had a blast shooting and went through about 200 rounds yesterday, looking forwards to the rest of the ammo being shot.
