This has been my choice for range ammo for my S&W Bodyguard 2.0. I’ve never had a ftf in the over 500 rounds through this new gun. And the speed of service from Ammo.com is outstanding.

Purchased 50 rounds, but have only shot 18 so far. I've had no problems at all. Shoots nice and clean, and no duds. I love the federal ammo so far. My only knock was on the value....which I dropped down 1 notch. The price for the 50 round box is awesome, but the shipping and handling hurt the value...still when you can't find the ammo you are looking for locally, the shipping and handling isn't much of an issue. Good ammo. Much cheaper than FN. Ran either or in a magazine and could not detect any differences. I encounter a lot of negative comments on this ammo. Mostly they looked to be repeats of the same comments. Some of the claims were downright preposterous, such as slugs falling out of casings. I don't believe any of those claims. I expect they are people trolling for FN, which is almost a buck a round.

My Closk 44 loves this ammo and performs best when firing it.

Shoots good for bulk ammo, a little waxy, so a few extra FTFs. You will have to keep up with cleaning your firearm each time or wipe down ammo before loading magazines

I think if you are looking for great deals then don't look any farther.

All one shot bullet placement, federal performance bullits

Only shot a dozen rounds at the range. Personal defense and carry ammo currently. Cycled great, no issues cycled cleanly, using it in my FN509, 12, 15, 24 rd mags. Again accurate, cycles clean, and no issues. Can't speak on stopping power, and hope to never have to.

I have shot the entire box of these with zero malfunctions. All my 22 pistols - even the finicky Firefly & Bersa Thunder eat it up. Great stuff!

Sergio, you're spot on. It's an old style jhp with rumored poor expansion in short barrels (4-stars). I've got a CZ75 and SP-01, so I don't expect to see any problems. Federal Premium is always reliable; this is no different. (5-stars) Nothing special, but JHP of good quality. It wasn't the worst deal around — I was just resigned to buying DoubleTap for a lot more. I'd rather pay for this than that, or junk, or nothing at all. (3-stars just based on what 9mm SHOULD cost — and I'm sure not saying anything bad about Ammo.com — they're great.)

I have shot this brand of ammo before, it has always performed well in my semi-auto without jaming, and is very accurate in my particular weapon.

Five deer taken on my ranch with this ammo: two neck shots, two head shots, and one shoulder shot ( 106 yds) . All dropped in their tracks! The shoulder shot hit a rib but still exited the body with a one inch exit wound that would have facilitated tracking, had it been necessary.

I put all 500 rounds through my ar with 0 issues. The groupings are good, and not a single misfire.

The .270 is a flat shooting Caliber, and big enough to take down many species. I prefer to use 150 grain, and sight in my rifle to 300 yards

So what I noticed about these rounds as they seem to perform okay in my semi-automatics and I would say 99% of them ejected well out of my lever action but I noticed inconsistency in the load of different boxes of ammo actually quite a bit I didn't like it a lot of them were light-loaded and to me that's screwing me on my hard-earned money.

Bought a fairly new Mossberg 702 Plinkster Bought 500 rounds of various ammo to test. Had no issues with this box, it was cheap and as accurate as any other in this cheap gun. Had some jamming issues with another brand, not with this stuff.

These rounds are like a band. They jam! All jokes aside, I'm on my first box, and I've had numerous jams. 7 jams in 50 rounds. That's also with 2 different magazines to feed these rounds.

Do not recommend these they do not perform the way they should I have not had any success the few times I’ve used these even after almost 2 years there still living with it in them

What can I say? It's Federal. Never fails, clean burning, consistent shot after shot. My first choice for factory new ammo.

The 185 grain cycled thru both my Glocks and Para-Ordnance 1911 LDA without any problems. The .40SW feed thru my Beretta Strorm Carbines and both were very accuate and fairly clean burining.

Ammo worked well no issues

This ammo is absolutely excellent, it ran flawlessly through my Glock 20 with no malfunctions. All of the rounds looked phenomenal no dinged casings, bad primers, or tarnishing on the casing or led bullet. This ammo is what I personally have loaded for my home defense round. Would I recommend this ammo to others? Yes, in fact I believe in it so much I trust my life to it.

Every ammo I have purchased and used that has the Federal name on it has been the creme de la creme in my book. The 147 grain JHP is no exception. Whether it's for my revolvers, pistols or long guns I have complete confidence when Federal is with me.

I would recommend this ammo to any Texan for self defence. As, both my wife and I are licensed open and carry Texans we believe that it is best to be prepared and aware of our surroundings, especially in this day of violence.

As expected, the ammo is working just fine. And less expensive than walking into Tracto Supply. I’m a regular customer now!

Found what I was looking for

I have had a chance to use a few of the rounds, and am happy with the performance. No jams, and true flight.

I have went thru about 200 rounds so far. Tight groups and no problems whatsoever. I have been trying out different ammo for different AR's. I typically buy 1,000--2,000 rounds at a time. I try to keep the cost as close to 40 cents per round as I can get. This was 57.5 cents per round (but I wanted to give it a try). Again, nothing bad to say about this ammo--but the price will probably keep me from ordering more. Also--I prefer 62 grain (75 and 77 grain would be my top choices, but (usually) the cost is prohibitive). Very good ammo.

I recently got a S&W 380 and tried a few different types of ammo. The Federal 380 99 grain was the clear winner with me. Shoots consistently accurate with no flawed rounds. Will be my go to choice for this gun.

I have used and carried, due to the recorded performance in ballistic gel and the recorded results of various barrier penetrations. I definitely have no problem using as my EDC ammo on a daily basis

Worked like it should it went in the gun. it came out of the gun . so it worked just fine.

First time customer (of website and vendor), was really happy with their value, the way they shot and the quick arrival!

This was worse than black powder. Took over two hours to get my gun halfway clean after one round of clays. Contacted the mfr…nada.

Bought 500 rds. first mag, would not feed, S&W M&P, tried it in a Taurus 709 same thing, tried some in a hi-point 9mm, made it through the first mag then the second, hmm what;s up with this? third mag 2nd round no feed, 4th same. Sorry to say I wasted hard earned money on target and practice ammo I can't use. Don't buy.

I have and prefer the HST and Speer Gold Dots as my edc loads. The HST has the most expansion you can find in the gel tests if you pay attention to those. A bit pricey, but.....worth the extra for performance

Had a box of this laying around for month, pulled it out at the range and used it between some Winchester 9mm target and some bulk ammo brand. Fired flawlessly through my Glock. At 21ft went from ten inch groupings down to 2 in groupings using this stuff then back to ten inch groupings after I used it. Clear as day this stuff is accurate with virtually NO recoil. Would not want this in a tactical situation but if you want to see how accurate you really try this stuff.

The Ammo is great, but the one hitch in my "Giddy-up" is: The ammo on the website reads "FMJ-BT", but what showed up at my door was regular FMJ. I'll still shoot it, but I'll be wary, before I order from here.
