Blazer Brass 9mm Ammo For Sale
Overview of Blazer Brass 9mm Ammo
Why Buy Blazer Brass 9mm Ammo?
Blazer Brass 9mm is what most shooters fall back on when they want a clean, reloadable, American-made FMJ load that doesn't burn a hole in the checking account. Loaded by CCI in Lewiston, Idaho, it features reloadable brass cases, noncorrosive primers, and quality-controlled powder charges: the same components as CCI's premium lines, packaged for high-volume practice.
Blazer Brass is the perfect high-mileage range ammo for 9mm shooters running a Glock 19, SIG P320, Springfield Hellcat, or any pistol caliber carbine. It cycles reliably, ejects brass that's worth picking up, and lands at a per-round cost that lets you actually train instead of rationing.
Key features of Blazer Brass 9mm
- Reloadable brass case: not aluminum or steel.
- CCI quality control: manufactured on the same lines as CCI's premium ammo in Lewiston, Idaho.
- Factory loadings include: 115 grain FMJ, 115 grain JHP, 124 grain FMJ, 124 grain JHP, 147 grain FMJ (subsonic), and 147 grain TMJ-FN.
- Noncorrosive Boxer primers: do not require special cleaning after target practice has ended.
- Bulk-friendly: stocked in 50-, 200-, 500-, and 1000-round packaging for high-volume training.
Blazer Brass 9mm load options
- 115 grain FMJ: the classic 9mm range weight; snappy yet comparably light recoil.
- 115 grain JHP: train with and carry the same round.
- 124 grain FMJ: recoil and point-of-impact closest to most premium 124 grain defensive loads.
- 124 grain JHP: excellent training and carry ammo.
- 147gr FMJ: subsonic, soft-shooting, suppressor-friendly; comparable performance to 9mm 147 grain defensive analogs.
- 147 grain TMJ-FN: a clean-firing, suppressor-friendly alternative.

How Does It Compare to Other Brands?
Blazer Brass 9mm is budget-friendly range/plinking ammo comparable to Federal Champion and Remington Range.
Blazer Brass is reliable, no-frills, mid-to-low-priced ammo. It’s definitely a step up from steel-cased ammo in terms of reliability and firearm compatibility, but it’s in no way designed to compete with premium defensive rounds. It’s generally clean-igniting and reliable in most striker-fired pistols, albeit slightly less consistent than Federal and Winchester ammo.
For the aluminum-cased Blazer line, see our Blazer aluminum 9mm review.
Is Blazer Brass Safe for Ported Barrels?
No. Blazer Brass ammunition is not intended for ported barrels. Blazer’s bullets have plated jackets. A port may slice a piece off of such a jacket and deflect it back at the shooter.
How to Save on Blazer Brass 9mm bulk ammo
The fastest way to bring your cost down is to buy in 500 and 1000-round counts. Blazer Brass is one of the cheapest brass-cased options we carry by the case, and bulk 9mm ammo from Ammo.com ships discreetly. Filter the manufacturers and round-count sidebar to see what's in stock!

Shot over1000 rounds with a Glock 43x, Glock 48 and it P365. Not a single issue with rounds, magazines, or pistols. Very pleased for bulk ammo.

I’m just starting to train for carrying, but I’ve had only one to two jams in 5 boxes of 50. Excellent price, commercial ranges tend to allow you to use this ammo if you bring it.

I've been buying this ammo for a while and it just runs I have not had any problems with any of my pistols and it seems to be for whatever reason a little cleaner shooting I tried some steel casing that was supposed to be upgraded and it was just a few dollars less than this brand but I can tell you now I will never go back to steel casing unless the price goes dramatically down because way too many issues with filthy guns and a lot of duds.

I’ve been running Blazer Brass through my Glock and overall, I’m impressed. It earns 5 stars for quality and price—great value for the performance it offers. However, I’m giving 4 stars for performance because I experienced two misfeeds during my sessions. No doubt due to Blazer's lower muzzle pressure, which I specifically chose to reduce wear and tear on the barrel, slide, and other cycling components. I also chose Blazer to save a bit of money. I went in understanding the trade-offs, and for my purposes, it’s still a solid choice. If you’re using this ammo, just be aware of the potential for minor cycling issues, especially in firearms designed for higher-pressure loads.

Ive shot over 5k rounds of this ammo through my HK P30sk. Never failed to shoot. I’ve also went 1000k rounds before cleaning and my gun wasn’t as dirty as I thought it should be. But there was some buildup.

I've gone through over 10,000 rounds of Blazer 9mm ammo and have not had a single malfunction. It is pretty dirty compared to other brands but the cost per round makes up for it to me. Just clean your guns more often. Stores well too, we have some loose in an ammo can for over a year and no issues with it. Just keep desiccant packet inside can.

I shot at least 3 thousand of these rounds. Only one round was defective in the box - the bullet compressed too far into the casing. Other than that, had no issues.

I researched different websites and found that Ammo.com was competitive on the calibers I was looking for. Ordering was easy . I received my order in a timely fashion and it was as expected. Took a couple of boxes to the range and it was nice to shoot the same ammo I purchase from the range at a significantly reduced price. Will use Ammo.com again.

CCI has been a Great Ammunition Manufacturer for a long time now! CCI has been one of my favorite Ammunition suppliers ever since I was a little guy! This time it is a 124 Gr 9mm shell! This ammunition gives me very high accuracy in mt Sig Sauer P320! It also performs well in my other 9mm pistols!

I bought these to shoot some steel targets. The cycle well in the pistol, no misfires, they seem fairly consistent in their performance. I'll definitely buy them again.

The Blazer 9mm is great for target shooting and practice. Feeds clean and I have not had any issues with load consistency. I have tried buying some other (cheaper) brands and have had issues with stovepipes and ammo feed after firing a hundred rounds or so. The blazers have stayed consistent, and kept on rolling even after 400-500 rounds in a weekend of fun .

I purchased Blazer at a local Fleet Farm and it was 14.99 for a box of 50 9mm and this was on sale and I bought 1000 rounds. With tax it came out to around $0.34 per round. I purchased 2 1000 round 9mm here, and even with tax and shipping, it still came out to $0.29 per round. I've been spending a lot of time at the range and have been going through 150 to 200 rounds per day. So it adds up and buying 2000 rounds from Ammo.com... that comes out to $100 savings over buying local.
