Overview of Blazer Brass 9mm Ammo

Why Buy Blazer Brass 9mm Ammo?

Blazer Brass 9mm is the load most shooters fall back on when they want a clean, reloadable, American-made FMJ that doesn't burn a hole in the range bag. Built by CCI in Lewiston, Idaho, it uses a reloadable brass case, non-corrosive primers, and quality-controlled powder charges - the same components in CCI's premium lines, packaged for high-volume practice.

For 9mm shooters running a Glock 19, Sig P320, Springfield Hellcat, or any pistol-caliber carbine, Blazer Brass is the high-mileage range round. It cycles reliably, leaves brass that's worth picking up, and lands at a per-round cost that lets you actually train instead of rationing.

Key features of Blazer Brass 9mm

  • Reloadable brass case: standard boxer-primed brass, not aluminum or steel - reloaders keep the empties.
  • CCI quality control: built on the same lines as CCI's premium ammo in Lewiston, Idaho.
  • Three factory loadings: 115 gr FMJ, 124 gr FMJ, and 147 gr FMJ subsonic.
  • Non-corrosive primers: safe for daily carry guns and PCCs - no rushed cleanups required.
  • Bulk-friendly: stocked in 50, 200, 500, and 1000-round counts for high-volume training.

Blazer Brass 9mm load options

  • 115 gr FMJ: the classic 9mm range weight - low recoil, snappy, NATO-equivalent practice load.
  • 124 gr FMJ: recoil and point-of-impact closest to most premium 124 gr defensive loads, so it's the right practice weight if you carry 124 gr +P JHP.
  • 147 gr FMJ: subsonic, soft-shooting, suppressor-friendly - matches the weight of 9mm 147 grain defensive loads for practice.

Good target practice ammo for the price. Will jam occasionally but for the price it's manageable. Better than other brands I've used but not perfect

  • Stay Focused said:

Bought 1000 rounds due to price. Other reviews seemed okay. I have shot 5 mags and almost every round jammed. Great for teaching my children hw to deal with firearm issues but terrible if I needed it to function properly.

very happy came through in the clutch, thanks

  • BobbiJo said:

The Blazer Brass 9mm ammo performed very well. Didn’t make a mess of my gun. And I had no misfires. Quality ammo. I can only give it 4 stars though because of what we are forced to pay for target ammo these days.

  • BobbiJo said:

This ammo is solid range stuff. It’s clean and I’ve yet to have any issues with it. Can’t go wrong with blazer brass. Thank God for Ammo.com. They ship super fast and they have decent prices. One of the few companies that ship to NJ too. And love the sticker they put in every order.

  • Scarlet Shadow said:
