Overview of 40 Cal (S&W) Ammo

The .40 S&W cartridge was developed to provide more stopping power than the 9mm Parabellum and better handling than the .45 ACP. A team from Smith & Wesson and Winchester achieved these goals, creating a rimless, 10x22mm round with a .40-inch (10mm) bullet weighing between 105 and 200 grains (gr). This cartridge offers enough stopping power for home defense and concealed carry while being manageable for shooters of various sizes.

I have never had any type of problem with Sellier & Bellot ammunition. It has always functioned exactly as it should.
