Overview of Sellier & Bellot Ammo
Established in 1825, Sellier & Bellot is one of the oldest continuously operating ammunition companies in the world. Based in the Czech Republic, S&B is renowned for its high-quality ammo, serving both military and civilian markets. The brand is now owned by CBC, which also manages the Magtech ammunition brand.
The Beginnings of Sellier & Bellot
Louis Sellier and Jean Maria Bellot partnered to revolutionize ammunition production in the early 19th century. Their innovative process allowed for mass production of percussion caps, lowering ammunition costs and setting a new standard for quality. By the mid-1800s, Sellier & Bellot was one of the largest ammunition manufacturers in Europe, producing millions of primers annually.
Expanding into Modern Ammunition
S&B introduced rimfire and centerfire cartridges in the late 19th century, eventually adding a wide range of military and hunting ammunition. During WWI and WWII, the company shifted focus to supply military-grade ammunition. Post-war, they expanded commercial lines to include over 85 different cartridges for pistols, rifles, and shotguns.

I have run thousands of rounds, thru a number of 9mm hand guns. Most recently a Glock 43. I have never had a misfire, jam or any other type of issues using this ammo. I also use Sellier and Bellot for my Sig P320c .45 acp and a Sig .40 S&W and have never had any issues with this manufacturers ammo.

I ran roughly 200 rounds through my wife's Ruger SR9. Absolutely no misfires! Clean-up was a breeze. Some of the best target ammo I have used to date. Will be doing much more business with you.

I've been slinging S&B 00 buck around 20 years now and it's always been good. I get decent patterns and very reliable performance out of it. It's not flight control, so if you have a special purpose that involves longer ranges you might go somewhere else but this stuff is def good out to 50 yards. Ran great in my 1301 tactical so I'm gonna go ahead and grab some more

Excellent value in a monolithic projectile hollow-point format. Without detailed ballistic testing, I would say SB being a reputable manufacturer I have a long positive history with in my handguns, I expect these in .40 to perform quite well. Well packed, excellent quality components, shipped fast at a very competitive price!
