45 ACP Ammo For Sale
Overview of 45 ACP Ammo
The .45 ACP, developed by John Moses Browning in 1905, is a cornerstone of American ammunition known for its power and reliability. It offers excellent stopping power and accuracy, making it ideal for personal protection, law enforcement, and competitive shooting. Originally designed to meet the U.S. Cavalry's need for a more effective round, it became the official sidearm of the U.S. Armed Forces in 1911 with the M1911 pistol. Favored by units like the FBI's Hostage Rescue Team and LAPD SWAT, the .45 ACP's versatility and effectiveness continue to make it a trusted choice over a century later.

I was a little hesitant at first, but Ammo.com delivered as advertised. I expected a little higher price due to the ammunition shortage and found that other dealers are pricier. I will be a future customer.

These are difficult times with regards to getting ammo of just about any kind. This was a bit pricy, but not too bad and shipping was as expected and the quality was fine, but have not shot a lot as want to make sure to have some on hand.

The base of this ammo is just a hair bigger than other .45 ACP ammo. This makes it hard to load in some Sig mags (particularly newer 8-10- round mags). There is a notch just below the top bullet on these mags that catch Wolf rounds and make it hard to load the magazine and then cause the next round up to fail to rise to the top. Have not had this problem on older or 1911 Mags.

The 185 grain cycled thru both my Glocks and Para-Ordnance 1911 LDA without any problems. The .40SW feed thru my Beretta Strorm Carbines and both were very accuate and fairly clean burining.

Okay, first I will just say I ordered one thousand rounds after doing multiple different tests on this round. I found it to expand over .85" with the biggest one expanding just over an inch. Out of all the premium rounds and the generic rounds on the market for non-bonded hollow points in 45, this had the best performance every....single...time. Not to mention it has light recoil. I found its recoil to be on par with steel cased wolf or tulammo. It fed smooth in my glocks, 1911s and even in my tommy gun. I say buy it. Get it and thank ammo.com for this terrific product. I sure do

This is great ammo for Self Defense, this will get the job done. Using solid guns like Kimber in 45 & 10mm, I was able to achieve a level of accuracy at 25 yards with this ammo that I haven't been able to do since my Army days. Firing many 3 round groups at 25 yards, All shots could fit inside the circumference of a Quarter, actually the shots on the target touched and overlapped each other, nice mushrooms, 0 malfunctions and seeing some expand to over an inch, I decided to change over and make this my first "go to" ammo. Thank you Ammo.com

In a 50 round box, I found that these actually perform much better than the ammo I was trained on. I know my training ammo was just “ target ammo”…but there is a big difference between the two. This will be my stock up self defense ammo for certain.

I have used Barnes bullets as a reload as well as factory since they came out onto the market. They are very accurate while maintaining their entire mass throughout the wound channel. If you are betting your life on a bullet make it a Barnes TAC-XPD 185 Gr. Confidence and excellent terminal stats.
