Federal Ammunition began in 1916 in Anoka, Minnesota, originally manufacturing ammo and bicycles. Under Charles L. Horn's leadership from 1922, Federal grew into a renowned ammunition brand. Horn's innovative marketing and commitment to quality helped secure contracts during WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, solidifying Federal's role in military supply.

One of the company’s most trusted modern defensive offerings is Federal HST 9mm ammo, built for consistent expansion and reliability.

Federal's Product Innovation

    I feel that due to the few numbers per capita of the .357 Sig guns, the demand isn't so high which makes even the practice loads high in comparison to o ther calibers. This ammo shoots very well and is close to my carry load (Gold Dot) in felt recoil. Over all very good and I will buy more later. Cheers, Sam

    Shooting these rounds at the range made a mess out of my guns. Thinking it was the gun, I brought a second one to the range the following week. Brass particles were left in both guns, making them impossible to clean. Federal wants to remain blameless. The batch number in the boxes are: K472PP2. STAY AWAY !
