Federal Ammo For Sale
Overview of Federal Ammo
Federal Ammunition began in 1916 in Anoka, Minnesota, originally manufacturing ammo and bicycles. Under Charles L. Horn's leadership from 1922, Federal grew into a renowned ammunition brand. Horn's innovative marketing and commitment to quality helped secure contracts during WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, solidifying Federal's role in military supply.
Federal's Product Innovation
Federal offers a comprehensive catalog of centerfire, rimfire, and shotshell ammo. The company pioneered conservation efforts, including supporting 4-H programs and advocating for the Pittman-Robertson Act, which continues to fund wildlife restoration through ammunition excise taxes.
Modern Manufacturing
Federal's Anoka facility has expanded from its modest beginnings to over 500,000 square feet, producing a wide range of ammo for hunting, self-defense, and law enforcement. Innovations like Hydra-Shok self-defense rounds and American Eagle Syntech polymer-coated bullets highlight Federal's commitment to quality and performance.
Awards and Recognition
Federal has received numerous accolades, including Game & Fish Readersโ Choice Awards and the NRAโs Golden Bullseye. The company remains a trusted name for shooters across the globe.

Bought several different boxes of 22 LR to try out at the range for 3 different guns. All three cycled the others like a champ. All three never went more than 3 shots without having to clear these. I had no issues with the Federal 36 Grain CPHP Ammunition, but these were nothing but trouble. Will never buy them again.

Had a box of this laying around for month, pulled it out at the range and used it between some Winchester 9mm target and some bulk ammo brand. Fired flawlessly through my Glock. At 21ft went from ten inch groupings down to 2 in groupings using this stuff then back to ten inch groupings after I used it. Clear as day this stuff is accurate with virtually NO recoil. Would not want this in a tactical situation but if you want to see how accurate you really try this stuff.

Value was not great. Over $.50/rnd after tax and shipping. Shot 200 of the 500 so far. Performance is flawless from the G21. Quality is very good and no complaints for its intended purpose, the range. I donโt expect any issues from Federal ammo. I will be buying more when these are gone.

The ammo came quicker than I thought it would, ordered it on a Sunday and it was delivered to my front porch that Tuesday. I have nothing but good things to say about ammo.com and I have recommended the site to my coworkers.

Good ammo. Much cheaper than FN. Ran either or in a magazine and could not detect any differences. I encounter a lot of negative comments on this ammo. Mostly they looked to be repeats of the same comments. Some of the claims were downright preposterous, such as slugs falling out of casings. I don't believe any of those claims. I expect they are people trolling for FN, which is almost a buck a round.

Just purchased the FiveseveN and took it to the range with this ammo. Didnโt have any issues with the first (and only, unfortunately) 150 rounds I ran through it. The accuracy was nowhere near what Iโve heard reviewed...which was the reason I purchased the gun. However the gun isnโt broken in yet so this is a premature review on the ammo The American Eagle 5.7 is the cheapest ammo you can get for the gun so in comparison itโs pretty good. However if the accuracy doesnโt improve after 500 rounds Iโm going to trade in the gun

I purchased the Federal .308 American Eagle 150 grain FMJ-BT to shoot in my new FN FAL rifle, and boy was I impressed because I had never tried this ammo before. I was shooting at 50 and100 yards and getting .25" to .50" groupings. Also I had some Remington Cor-Lokt with me and it was noticeable that the Federal American Eagle had more recoil than the Remington. As a final note I shot 10 rounds at 250 yds at a clump of grass the size of a basketball and hit it every time from a hilltop on a powerline. Great ammo.
