Overview of 5.7x28mm Ammo
The 5.7x28mm cartridge was introduced in 1991 by Belgian company FN Herstal to replace the 9x19mm cartridge. It was designed to offer level IIIA body armor piercing capabilities at 200 meters.
Thanks to its bullet shape, it also reduces the risk of ricocheting, so shooters and law enforcement agencies can have a little more confidence in this compact, accurate, low-recoil round.

I’m used to military rifles not pistols. I always fire any pistol low/left. Bought a FN 5.7 last month. This ammo doesn’t double feed. We’ve fired easily 500rds without cleaning the FN and there hasn’t been one issue! More practice! Thankyou for reading!
